I was raised in a very religious enviroment, but more than the religion itself was the moral standards, forgivenes for all, and although we held family members and loved ones accountable and responsible for their actions we loved them regardless. Of course our issues were not blown wide open to the public and media scrutiny. I guess what I am saying is at the end of the day GA & CA are still Lee's mom and dad. And Casey is still his sister. My mom did some pretty horrendous, depllorable stuff that we kids managed to survive through (Thanks so much Daddy!) but we forgave her. I still loved her. I never forgot however!

Yes I would love to see one of the family members stand up outright for Caylee. But I can see how difficult that could be in this situation with all of the intense scrutiny. As I've read in some other posts reminded me that in his own way Lee has made the effort his way.

All I know is I would not want to be walking in his shoes! My heart and prayers still goes to the family and little Caylee.

none of the immediate family give a darn about caylee. they are too busy covering casey's butt or they're own. i dont have sympathy for any of them, only for caylee.

So very true on so many different levels!


It's so difficult to understand the mentality of the Anthony family. If I were in this situation I would so love to sit face to face with said family member at this time now with pretty much everything exposed and demand an answer. Not backing down at all and share with this person how many people have been hurt over this, rather then coddle them and allowing them to stay in their 'safe' place to continue pretending. Maybe they have via letters but that's not the same.
I know for myself if I have done something and hurt others because of it, guilt over takes me and I have to make things right for my own conscience and peace. Just makes it more obvious that KC does not have one For the sake of allowing Caylee to truly rest IMO she has to clear the air. I have a feeling this will never happen for that sweet little innocent soul.

Now that I have made myself sad, I should take a break and spend some time with my favourite little people ♥

I think this is nothing more than LA's 'official statement'.

Let's suppose the opposite were said, that he did not support his sister... It would serve to stir up a nice little frenzy, lots of media calls. The defense would want to look into him more as well.
LA is already a witness for the state. If it is correct that he has been granted immunity, he has nothing to lose by going out there and saying he supports her (for now), but lots to gain by not saying the opposite-His privacy remains more intact with the statement he did make.

I think that Lee is just towing the company line and that he is done w/Casey. If he really supported her, I would have expected him to have attended at least one of her court hearings.

My DH is a former Child protective services worker and has degrees and formal training. He has often mentioned the "survivor" phenomonen- where one or more children of a horrendously dysfuntional family will basically distance themselves from the family and somehow, dispite abuse, etc. will actually grow up to be "normal", well balanced contributing members of society. They usually don't speak ill of the family- just keep their distance, sometimes actually physically, by moving far away. I have seen this first hand several times with friends who were in just such a situation. While I'm leary of trusting anything from the A's, perhaps LA's lack of publicity seeking, laying low, kinda distancing himself from CA & GA & KC, is that "survivor" mechanism kicking in. He won't say anything bad publicly, just say nothing or be vaguely supportive (through an attorney). But as with all things A's related, who knows? The other boot may drop- it will be interesting to hear him on the stand and how the defense tries to make him look....

If Luka stopped working for Lee in 09, why is making statements for Lee?
This may be that the last thing Lee told Luka was that he supports his sister, but I'm going to post the actual statement and pay attention to his choice of words, very telling if you ask me.

It was never said that they suspected her, it was said that Mallory told Heidi

Notice he didn't say that he beleives she is innocent, or that he believes her, just that he is"in support of" her. I'm sure he still loves his sister and I'm sure he doesn't want her to get the DP. He can love and support her but still not agree with her actions.

Lee Anthony has said Casey never confessed or suggested she knew what happened to her daughter, Luka added.Notice he said Lee has said, past tense. Not that he said as in recently, alot of things have been said in the past two years, so how recent was this statement?

Lee Anthony has immunity from prosecution for anything he testifies to as long his stories are truthful and consistent, Luka told Kealing.
I really think this is intresting, why would Luka bring this up? I think Luka is saying without saying it that Lee knows things that he will tell but right now isn't the time.

I think Lee is going to tell all, I think he will do what is right by Caylee and I think that as of right now he can ignore all this and thats what he is trying to do, I think when the time comes he will do whats right.

i gather from that statement that the molestation claims must be true, since Lee backs them up 100%.

I don't see where Lee says he backs what she says 100% - he admitted to LE his sister has major trouble when it comes to telling the truth, but even if she is strapped down on the table - with a needle in her arm, she will still be his baby sister. A duty he took to heart no doubt when she was just a little girl.

How can he be 100% behind the woman who accuses him of molesting her in an incestuous manner? That doesn't set right with me, he's either trying to keep his name out of the press as much as possible or trying to make KC think he supports her, IDK. That's insane, if he's 100% behind her - does that mean he 100% agrees with her molestation claims?

Lee disappeared from the public eye at the time the molestation and Cay - Lee rumors were at a fevered pitch. And oddly, when no one else in the family can hold a job because of "name recognition" - Lee has worked the whole time (after briefly taking time to try and help within the family) he even wisely turned down an offer to work with Kid Finders or whichever organization was part of the circus at that time.

He alone in this family seemed to care enough about his niece to tell the truth - wherever it led him. He went in to visit his sister with a script from LE knowing he was being taped. He told LE under oath - he and his sister will share things with each other - that they won't tell anyone else. I am reasonably sure he thought she would tell him who had Caylee. What did that get him? LE rigged a car with surveillance equipment and had her last boyfriend invite him in for a chat. Then they used his DNA to do a paternity test to rule him out as Caylee's possible father. Lee was tossed under the bus by his sister and possibly in his eyes, by LE too. He already knew he wasn't Caylee's father... While he may understand on one hand - LE had a job to do, whether it hurt his feelings or not. How humiliating that must have been for him.

In all honesty, I think the loss of Caylee, is harder on Lee than any other person in that house - because the loss of Caylee destroyed what was left of his family and what little was left of appearing to the world that they were just like everyone one else. We saw for months on end just what level of disfunction exists in that house. If you haven't lived with mental illness - please try not to criticize what someone has to do to survive intact - if "intact" is even the right word. Because if you haven't lived it - you have no idea.

Lee and Luka parted ways months ago, what this is about - I'm sure we will find out eventually.

Emma's uncle, the one who arranged his schedule so Emma didn't go to day care - refuses to go to court - because he does not support his sister.

So far the courts in FL are nowhere near ready to try KC for Caylee's death. Lee is the only one in the house who is holding a job. Regardless of how it ends in FL - Lee is a young man, he needs an income - he undoubtedly needs time away from the other people in that house...

Since appearances are everything in that family - CA and GA may not want him along for the ride - if he won't be their "Yes boy" anymore...

I guess we'll see - sooner or later!

Wow...it just occurred to me that I have never noticed that Lee has been a no-show in the courtroom. This certainly is a major statement on his part. Can't believe I have never put this together. He still lives in the area, right?

If DC knew she was there, why was he not back there looking everyday til the lot was dry? I agree, someone told him something... But I doubt it was KC or a psychic. Although I don't doubt it was a member of the defense which would include family.

Remember the "bag of toys" found back there, that the same former LEO who didn't follow up on the meter reader's find in August - was called out on - after some random guy (who may or may not have known KC in the past?) took from the scene and brought to show CA? She claimed the toys weren't Caylee's and the LEO said they are nothing to do with anything and the deputy tossed the bag back into the underbrush??

So we have Kio, who hadn't seen KC in a long time; some random guy with a bag of toys and a meter reader - who saw something in August - all pointing at roughly the same area. We also have a little boy, who lives in one of the houses that backs up to that lot - he took a reporter and cameraman from his backyard (on the day the remains were found) - he also said the area was under water at Thanksgiving. It was played live - but the tape was pulled P.D.Q. - that reporter and cameraman got closer to the crime scene - from the rear than most LEO's did that day....

I don't think it took a genius to find Caylee there. It took patience and luck (if you can call it that) to be the first one to find her there. I'm forever grateful to RK for going back there on 12/11 and looking again. Who knows where the remains would have ended up if someone else got there first.

KC spilling what she knew would have meant caring more for Caylee than what she was having for lunch... IMO that didn't happen...
