California couple found killed in home mourned by furry community: http://www.nydailynews.com/news/nat...ome-mourned-furry-community-article-1.2807151

"Furries are people who craft their own anthropomorphic animal personas and dress up as the characters at meet ups, sometimes for sexual situations....

Members of the fandom who posted on condolences to Jennifer's page on furry-centered website furaffinity.net said that they believed the killers were also part of the subculture."

So the 17 year old was booked on murder and conspiracy also.
Guess we will have to see if they decide to charge as an adult before we find out the name.
They found them pretty quick, bet those poor children in the house told them everything that happened.

I'm seriously trying to figure out in my pea brain, how do people develop sexual tendencies towards stuffies and anthropomorphic animals?

I am going to put it in the same category as trying to understand the way a killer thinks. I just don't get it. I'm not saying these furry people are sick or murderers or anything like that.

But HOW do you become drawn to it? I don't get it.

For anyone interested in the sick and twisted things that FF was into, I posted some links in the other thread.

Okay, I'm having trouble with the outstanding citizen thing.

The dude has some seriously disturbing journal entries and lewd sexual pictures of fake animals or whatever.

I really hope a furry or 2 will please, please, please join and let us know how this all works, because the guy was evil.

I don't get it either.....I'm at a total loss.

:tyou: los!
This is the other thread, in case anyone wants to look at some of FF's online ramblings. I only skimmed through the Imgur, Reddit and Google+. His username on pipl brings up a bunch of stuff. I haven't sleuthed the other 2 yet. My links start near the end of the thread. Others posted useful links and Facebook links as well.

I'm seeing some things that are indicating a very gruesome case.

Does anyone know if KY had recently undergone a major change in her look where she looked like a male?

Yes, she posted a picture where her long hair is cut into a very boyish, butch style. I believe it is on her Facebook under her regular name.

She [Melinda Giles, a friend] said Jennifer Yost told her several weeks ago that she had forbidden Felix from seeing her daughter. "To protect her daughter, Chris and Jenn were like, 'We don't want you to be friends with our daughter anymore,'" Giles said Monday... "It is really sad because they didn't deserve that. Those little girls didn't deserve to wake up to dead parents."

This sounds like the reason for the murder.

The Socal Furries had a FurBQ a week ago.

There are more than 350 pictures here.

KY indicates she's a bi-furry. FF was def swinging both ways as well.

There's some pretty disturbing pictures out there of KY holding a big knife to a masked man's neck from 2011. When she was 12. With My Little Pony stuffies in the background. Honestly.

She posted her new haircut on her Twitter. Sorry I don't have the link. I'm not twitter savy. She chopped all her hair off.

I've never heard of this Furry thing before. Odd for adults I guess. Nothing surprises me anymore.

But it appears it's not really a sexual fetish thing, right? Just people who like to role play with "stuffed animal" types of personas and some people/characters hook up. Like in real life. If you had a large convention of scrapbooking fans, some people would hook up. It's just nature. Right? I guess I'm trying to make myself feel better that there can't be a sexual subculture of grown adults dressing like animals having sex........

BBM. I believe it is sexual in nature. I always understood it to be that way.

Furry fans, sexual aspects: from Wikipedia (is that ok to link here?).

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Furry_fandom
Homosexuality and bisexuality are overrepresented in the furry fandom,[SUP][13][/SUP] by about a factor of 10 compared to the United States average self-identified rates of 1.8% bisexuality and 1.7% homosexuality.[SUP][37][/SUP] According to four different surveys, 14–25% of the fandom members report homosexuality, 37–52% bisexuality, 28–51% heterosexuality, and 3–8% other forms of alternative sexual relationships.[SUP][10][/SUP][SUP][12][/SUP][SUP][38][/SUP][SUP][39][/SUP] Approximately half of the respondents reported being in a relationship, of which 76% were in a relationship with another member of furry fandom.[SUP][10][/SUP] Examples of sexual aspects within furry fandom include erotic art and furry-themed cybersex.[SUP][40][/SUP][SUP][41][/SUP] The term "yiff" is sometimes used to indicate sexual activity or sexual material within the fandom—this applies to sexual activity and interaction within the subculture whether in the form of cybersex or offline.[SUP][42][/SUP][SUP][43][/SUP]
Sexual attraction to furry characters is a polarizing issue met with vehement opposition within the fandom; in one survey with 4300 furry respondents, 37% answered that sexual attraction is important in their furry activities, 38% were ambivalent, and 24% answered that it has little or nothing to do with their furry activities.[SUP][39][/SUP] In a different online survey, 33% of furry respondents answered that they have a "significant sexual interest in furry", another 46% stated they have a "minor sexual interest in furry", and the remaining 21% stated they have a "non-sexual interest in furry". The survey specifically avoided adult-oriented websites to prevent bias.[SUP][12][/SUP] Another survey found that 96.3% of male furry respondents reported viewing furry *advertiser censored*, compared to 78.3% of female; males estimated 50.9% of all furry art they view is pornographic, compared to 30.7% female. Furries have a slight preference for pornographic furry artwork over non-pornographic artwork. 17.1% of males reported that when they viewed *advertiser censored* it is exclusively or near-exclusively furry *advertiser censored*, and only about 5% reported that *advertiser censored* was the top factor which got them into the fandom.[SUP][44][/SUP]
