Even with lots of wine?Had to of affected her in some way.

In my personal and admittedly somewhat extensive prior experience with that combination, smoking weed and drinking will make you more likely to get the spins and vomit, but not more likely to black out unless the alcohol would have done that on its own anyway. Obviously everyone reacts to different substances differently but I am guessing this was not her first experience with that combo either. I also agree with other posters that if she was messed up enough to stumble into the river in the dark (quite a distance from her truck) she would never have been able to drive far enough to make it to the levee in the first place.

I haven't seen anything yet that, to me, opens up the reasonable possibility that she actually left the house of her own accord.

Just want to clarify (and no I'm not ashamed) before I joined the service I smoked weed regularly as it helped me relax especially with injuries and pain from sports. I hear people talk about weed as if it takes you "out of it" but that's not realistic. Yes it can slow your reaction but it doesn't cause you to make radical decisions or act different than your normal self. Alcohol will absolutely do that but weed not so much. This is from detailed research 😉. In all seriousness if it was her just getting high, the alcohol would have more adverse affects that Marijuana would. I can't speak on any other drugs. I've read and thought a lot about this case...more than any case I've ever heard of and still think foul play is very much the reason aly is no longer with us...not a accident. I could be wrong but I've tried to think of every accident scenario based off what we know and there are more questions than answers. Just doesn't add up from what we know.

Thank you for saying this. I still get high sometimes for sleep. It's legal here, and my doctor is on board. Anyway, I don't drink often, but while combining the two will certainly cause you to become more impaired, weed does not make you do random things other than maybe fall asleep or overeat. People don't get high on marijuana and then walk into a body of water by accident, or do things they don't remember.

My opinion weed only and smoking no it wouldn't "take you out". And yes you would wake up and know whats going on.

Concentrated THC perhaps but you'd wake up and know something was happening and remember it.

Weed of any type plus ENOUGH wine would "take one out" just as wine alone would.

my opinion.
Right. Alcohol would be the main factor, not weed.

Just to clarify...the orchard is inside the levees. When the river gets so high it flows over its natural bank and into the orchard. The officer was saying the water on the orchard is very shallow not the actual river itself which is some distance from where the truck was.
Got it. Do you knw how far away the river is from truck?

Also the night she went missing the river was down and there was no water in the orchard. In the crime watch video there is a little bit of water covering the orchard because the river came back up quite a bit.

I'm terrible with measurements but I'd say about a 3 minute walk.

Do you mean as in a female rival for ML's affection?
I agree she did not directly cause her own demise. I think she could have been taken advantage of while under the influence and it had to be covered up. Or someone that evening did not like what they saw and jealousy took over.

Concerned locals are doing what they can to keep Aly's name out there.

"Over the weekend, an estimated 600 cars were tagged and decorated with 'Justice for Aly.'
Holly Woods, a Gridley resident, organized the event. She and more than a dozen women used markers to write on car and business windows. From Yuba City to Oroville, they've been marking cars since Thursday.*"

No as in an ex boyfriend of hers like the nephew who showed up at the house also that evening or the other ex boyfriend who has been described as jealous

Niner, Thank you for the amazing timeline. well done....

The portion I pasted above is the part that makes me believe that something happened to her at that home, after 9:30 pm...

Reason being, if she had left by herself at 10:40, and planned to meet up with someone, in my opinion, she would have texted when she left. to figure out where and when to meet up. My kids ALWAYS text their friends as they leave my house when they are meeting up with them. It is usual routine for kids that age. They text when they are leaving, text when they arrive at the house etc...

I just don't believe that she voluntarily stopped using her cell at 9:30 and then went driving up into a farm field levee road an hour later...
