With the way the local teens are talking on social media, I think we would have heard by now if the juvenile in custody was somebody other than Nelly.

What we are interpreting as being in a rush in the video of the brother getting in the car, might be that they were just trying to avoid the media cameras.
 
I hope LE is talking to DF's friends. They seem to know quite a bit!

And I hope DF's and Janeth's friends are talking to LE if they are approached and not doing a code of silence after willingly saying things on SM.

We're doing a good job monitoring SM! :) I think you may be right that the kids getting into the car as fast as possible were trying to avoid the media. I've always felt for families who have reporters after them for a story because of something that has happened to their family. It's one things to seek out the media to get help finding a loved one or solving a crime, but it can really get intrusive otherwise.

I'm not saying that wasn't the case! I definitely think the rush was because of the cameras. However, that doesn't mean they're not trying to "get out of Dodge"! Did they come back afterwards? The duffel bag is what made me think they're escaping the house. If Nelly is inside of it, and there's gang members after her, I'd get out, too!
 
There's been a few cases locally where the retaliation seems to take place long after. Just when the person gets out of the rough life or jail, they're starting a new, better life...then, boom.

It's true what they say, sometimes the past follows you.
 
I don't think this is gang related.
I think this is about something that happened between these 4.

MoM could have sent them to a family members house because of all the press.
The duffel bag could be an overnight bag.. MOM was told not to talk to the press and maybe thought getting her kids out of sight would be the best thing.

Anna's remains were found so nearby. There's been investigators, reporters, mourners, and gawkers hanging around for weeks close to where Nelly's family lives. Then, instead of dying down, more reporters. Yes, I think I'd want my children to stay some place else.

in prison though, you are with thousands of ppl from umpteen counties and as time passes they don't care much. especially the females.

males are a different story.

CBS News8 reported the car that took Nelly's mother to where Nelly was being questioned, waiting to take Nelly home, left without Nelly and her mother that night.

At 6:30 a friend of the girls is suppose to speak about their relationship and why she doesn't think Nelly was involved in what happened to Anna.

Investigators want to find Janeth to question her. Daniel has still not been located.

Uh oh. Where is her mother? Rumors fly.

I was glad to hear the reporter say that people had emailed with ideas about where to find Daniel.
 
Forget the friend of the girls making a new statement at 6:30 - I heard that girl before, and just heard her again. She must be the only kid brave enough to talk to reporters. She sounds like a little girl from the neighborhood. In my own words, basically what she said was that Nelly and Anna were close friends, and at first she worried about hearing something, but then she decided Nelly wouldn't be capable of something like that. Hmm...like what?

My understanding is that juvenile court is really geared toward rehabilitation, so that's why names aren't released. But depending on the seriousness of the ultimate charge, this juvenile could be charged as an adult, and then the name would be released. I'm not saying that is likely, but possible.

I wonder if LE still believes JM is in Mexico, as was stated in the article you linked. Personally, I don't think she left the area between October 28 and November 13. But I do wonder why she disappeared from home October 28. I wonder if she was and is with DF. We don't know how long it's been since anyone has seen him. It's all very weird.
 
Bumping so Anna isn't forgotten. May all involved in her murder be arrested soon.
