Or he went up the 101 (not 154) and stopped at Nojoqui Falls park first then drove through Solvang and then went on to Lake Cachuma to pull over and sleep for a while. I wonder if he told LE he took the boy to Lake Cachuma or if LE said we have witnesses and surveillance showing you at lake Cachuma and then he said he and the boy spent the day there. I don't feel like that stop was an alibi but I could be wrong. I'm sure LE knows what time he was at Nojoqui and in Solvang. They also stated his whereabouts are unknown from 2am-8am. Or maybe during parts of that timeline his whereabouts are unknown.
I wonder if LE is tracing his cell phone pings

This article is more specific about the time the car was spotted. http://www.pasadenastarnews.com/soc...n-missing-south-pasadena-boy-doubled-to-20000
Authorities also searched in Orange County, where a gray 2004 four-door BMW owned by Andressian was seen on the morning of April 21 at Disneyland in Anaheim, where he and the boy apparently spent the day on April 20, officials said.
So they were captured on video leaving the park at 1:00 am, then the car was also seen at the park (parking lot?). I'm guessing that's where the 2:00 am comes in.

So, my questions would be how many cars did the family take to Disneyland? When leaving, did Ara Jr. get into the dad's car, or a relative's?

April 21
1:00 am - They left D-land, car spotted at D-land
2:00 am - 8:00 am - Nojoqui Falls --> Solvang --> Lake Cachuma
______ - car is push started near Lake Cachuma
11:30 am - 2:00pm - spotted at Lake Cachuma Rec Area store
2:30 pm - ??? - Lake Cachuma and ???April 22
6:30 am - Arroyo Park

Yes it's widely reported he told LE he took him to the lake that's why they did a search there shortly after detaining him only to confirm he was there but not the boy.

LE have not disclosed he went to Nojoqui and Solvang nor on the timeline you list. I just want to make clear that's your speculation. They've only stated those hours are unaccounted for. And I don't think the 11:30-2 applies to the store since they have surveillance and a time stamp for the store sightings. His entrance to the lake is time stamped 8am but doesn't show the boy entering the park with him. I don't remember what time they said he left the lake again timestamped with cameras and not showing the boy though he stated he arrived and left with the boy not knowing he was on camera.

Once you douse your car in gasoline, you really can't ever drive it again. That's real commitment to a cause.
Didn't they release the car back to him? I thought I read in the first thread that it was sighted in his driveway.

Please provide the link for the surveillance and a time stamp for the store sightings.

If you stay all day at Disney it can cost 60 bucks per car. I don't see why they would take 2 at that price. I think they were all together in one car.

I think they drove home together and the boy was probably asleep before they even left the lot, which takes awhile because of the gridlock.

So you drop off your Mom and sister, around 2-3 am? And you have a sleeping boy in the car. Why don't you just go inside and get some sleep and put the boy in bed? Where would he tell his family he is going, at 3 am, with an exhausted child?

Reward money has been raised to $30,000, with the additional $10,000 provided by the boy's mother from her fundraising efforts.

I don't think they've released those tapes to the public just like they haven't released the tapes of him entering and leaving the lake without the boy <modsnip>

So, just your speculation of the surveillance and time stamps, or do you have a link?

Has this been mentioned? What would cause a BMW's battery to run down and need to be charged?

The normal thing such as leaving lights on would run it down. Thinking of why he would have needed his battery charged that day? Any nefarious reason?

They haven't yet shared any details on that. He could have slept with the radio on or heater on, he could have had the lights on to see in the dark (as you say), he could have been using a portable dvd player, etc.

Mine ran down once when I was sitting and listening to the car radio, with a/c on, while waiting for someone at a doctors appointment. It happened pretty fast.

They did say he was at Nojoqui and Solvang but they did not give times.

If he didn't leave Dland until 2am-ish he couldn't possibly be in Santa Ynez before 5:00am-ish. With no traffic it's a 3 hour drive. With traffic even longer. It would take about 30 minutes to get from Nojoqui to Lake Cachuma. So if he did do something with little Ara during that time he would have only had about a 2.5-3 hour window.

Witnesses also reported seeing the boy and his father on April 21 at the Lake Cachuma Recreation Area, as well as near Solvang and Nojoqui Falls.

I wonder where they got the word 'witnesses' from? I have only seen one witness come forward. And I don't find her that credible. She says she saw someone who seemed drunk and crying, who was driving erratically with an unbuckled boy in the car, and yet she does not report it to anyone. Even though her young child is sitting there playing, right by where the drunk driver is veering near the playground. It makes no sense to me.

I believe the cameras more than that witness sighting.

He could have used the 2-3 hour window when he was halfway to Santa Barbara. Maybe he took a detour up Topanga Canyon or Tujunga Canyon, or took the Moorpark exit and went up to the more remote area East of the 101--ANYWHERE really---on his way to Santa Barbara.

That would have been the dead of night, and taken him through many areas where he could have turned East into remote areas. He could have gone to Simi or Santa Clarita and back in that 3 hour window. Lots of hilly, heavily wooded deep brush areas out there.
