I think we can all read between the lines of the facts that have been released so far and say that whatever this is, it doesn't look like some benign accident.

Given that, and given how many of Angelica's loved ones have spoken to the press, it is remarkable to me that it doesn't look like anyone is out there saying Angelica was the victim of a crime or that Camron has perpetrated a crime, or even really implying it much. The worst I've seen said (in the KCRA article) is that their relationship was sometimes "really bad". And that's with a high schooler and probable child (Angelica's oldest daughter) being interviewed.

I don't know what to make of that--journalistic discipline? legitimate care for Camron from Angelica's family?--if there is anything to make of it at all. But with the minimal info we have so far, the absence of that aspect really stands out to me.
I too find the whole tone of what has been released very odd. There is much we don't know about the circumstances surrounding Angelica's death.

Either her death was not the result of foul play and LE just want to make sure the children are safe and alive since they haven't been able to confirm they are with their father. OR

Her death is suspicious in nature but LE doesn't want to tip off Camron that he might be a POI in that death and so are carefully couching their words and have coached family to do so as well.

A woman was found unresponsive in a bathtub, according to archived audio dispatch calls reviewed by The Sacramento Bee. Dispatchers categorized the call as either a domestic violence incident or to investigate a dead body.

How Bravo died is unclear. The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office has classified the death as “undetermined” until a further autopsy has concluded.

On Wednesday, the police spokesman said the woman’s death has not been confirmed to be a homicide, because investigators are still trying to determine the cause of her death.

Angelica’s mother, Dawn Bodea, said Angelica and Camron were together for a long time but never married. She said Angelica recently moved to the Elk Grove area, but she would stop by the North Sacramento home where Lee lives to drop off the kids so they could spend time with their father.

Dawn said one of Camron’s relatives was the person who called for the welfare check on Monday

Trying to make sense of this….I think those two bolded bits together should mean that family members had not heard from them so one of Camron’s relatives called for a welfare check on Monday, and then once LE gained access to the home (which, how? Presumably if the the family had keys they would have gone in themselves), they found a dead body in the bathtub, so it was called in by LE and dispatchers sent the relevant additional aid.

That would make sense to me if not for this, which says police responded to a medical aid call where a female was possibly deceased:
So was the call a medical call or a welfare check? Who found Angelica’s body? Who reported that a possibly deceased body was at the home? Odd to not have a straight answer, since most of the information is coming from LE (FB posts and dispatch archives).

I'm hoping "dropped off somewhere" means they were left with a person, not just "dropped."

Right? Wish they would have been a little more specific.

Latest Update: Our detectives have been working around the clock on this investigation. Through this, we believe there is a potential that Athena and Mateo were dropped off somewhere in Southern California. Because of this, we've been working collaboratively with the California Highway Patrol and requested they initiate an Endangered Missing Advisory (EMA), which they have activated.

We want to remind those seeing this - If you have seen these kids or have information on their whereabouts, please contact us at our Tip Line: 916-808-0560.

I read through two pages to find something that said how Angelica died. Since they recently say COD is undetermined, I guess they are waiting for tox results?

Usually when we see this - Mom is found deceased and kids have been taken by the father. Its a DV murder, but in this case it must not be so clear cut. Hope the kids are safe and the family has answers soon.

Found in the bathtub make me immediately think either suicide or accidental OD.
Hopefully the kids are fine and located quickly.

If that's the case, maybe (pure speculation) Camron participated in the drug use/supplied the drugs/came back home to find her already deceased and freaked out because he thought the situation looked bad for him so he took the kids and started driving south. And if he dropped the kids off in SoCal, maybe he thought he could leave them with some friends while he lays low in Mexico for a while, waiting for things to clear up a bit. In that scenario, the only crimes committed would potentially be around drugs, I think.

Family said she had moved to Elk Grove though, and didn't live at the North Sac house with Camron. Maybe she was having a hard time separating herself from him, and did occasionally stay at that house. I can imagine someone with two young children being a bit more fluid in staying in her own house vs. the house of her ex and her children's father, but that seems less likely given she had a 12 y/o as well. Even if the 12 y/o primarily resided away from Angelica, I'd think Angelica would want to be predictable in where she was living.

Bravo's death remains under investigation and police have not called it a homicide as they focus on locating the children.

What are the criteria for an Endangered Missing Advisory?
In order for an Endangered Missing Advisory to be issued, a situation must meet these three requirements:

The children must be missing under unexplained circumstances.
Authorities have to believe the children are in danger.
There must be information that could be made public to help safely find those missing.
Endangered Missing Advisory issued for children of mother found dead in Sacramento home

The BBM is telling regardless what is coming from LE in regards to Camron NOT being a suspect. A natural death and children who may be with their father doesn't create a danger IMO. So the danger must BE the father. No family member has indicated that Camron isn't allowed to see his kids. So I must assume that Angelica's death was not natural and that Camron is suspect #1 whether LE want to identify him as such or not.. JMO

Hoping these adorable littles are found safe soon.

I can think of plenty of unnatural deaths where the victim was found in the bathtub. It's convenient for cleanup if a perpetrator is trying to remove DNA or considering something like dismemberment.

Lizbeth Medina was found in a bathtub, for example, and her death was anything but natural

A friend of a friend of mine served time for injecting someone with heroin, which led to an OD — although I can’t remember if she was convicted of manslaughter or murder.

Investigators believe the vehicle has entered Mexico, which is why an Endangered Missing Advisory was issued rather than an Amber Alert.

"Our investigation has led us to know that the 2023 Honda Passport entered Mexico," an SPD tweet said. "Because of this, criteria for AMBER Alert is not met. We are working with our law enforcement partners and the media to share this information as wide as we can."

Bravo's family says Lee mentioned moving to Guadalajara before. They believe that is where he could be located.
