#PinyonPines triple murder trial: Bailiff says it's the first time since the first two days when they asked for a read back of Javier Garcia's testimony. That was 150 pages long. At that time, they also asked for a laptop to play DVD of Pape's interview with detectives.

#PinyonPines triple murder trial: Bailiff says the audio would not play loud enough so they asked for transcripts of it.

#PinyonPines triple murder trial: The read backs are not open to the public and are done in the jury room. Bailiff tells me even he is not allowed in. Court reporter must bring all of her gear inside jury room to read the transcript back. @KESQ @LocalTwo

Well - this was something new that I have not seen before:

since the first two days when they asked for a read back of Javier Garcia's testimony. That was 150 pages long. At that time, they also asked for a laptop to play DVD of Pape's interview with detectives.

I see they didn't want to see Smith's interview with detectives.... hmmm....

I'm going to have to shut down in about 1/2 hour - 11pm here!! So hoping in the next 30 minutes we have a VERDICT!! It would be nice.

Wondering if they started at 9:30am this morning. Wish the tweeters would state how long this jury has been deliberating. I'm just doing "guessing" calculations from their tweets! LOL!
Maybe there will be an article soon that will say.

Jury in the #PinyonPines triple murder trial is out to lunch. Literally. Back at 1:30. @KESQ @LocalTwo

and - that's my cue to exit stage right!

It's okay @katydid to post tweets! I was just kidding you yesterday - you know that, right?!! Especially if there's a verdict! Hoping I come back in here tomorrow I'll find one!

Later all!

I find this all very encouraging— Sara’s testimony was really unintentionally damaging, in my opinion.
1) she couldn’t get ahold of him the night of the murder and was panicked. Hadn’t happened before, hasn’t happened since.
2) didn’t know he’s been speaking with Becky, and thought that if he was, it would’ve created serious problems in their relationship.

Yeah she said he was a great person and blah blah blah, but those two facts really solidify guilt to me.

Jury has gone home for the day in the #PinyonPine triple murder trial. They'll be back tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. I spoke to a board certified criminal law specialist about his take on the case today and what long jury deliberations may mean -->(link: Criminal law specialist: Pinyon Pines defense 'should be proud' of work in Pape & Smith trial) bit.ly/2J9zpjs @KESQ @LocalTwo

article:
Criminal law specialist: Pinyon Pines defense 'should be proud' of work in Pape & Smith trial

“Those defense attorneys should be proud." says Kia Feyzjou, a veteran defense attorney and board-certified criminal law specialist." Whatever they’ve done to keep this jury out in Riverside County, which is generally a conservative neighborhood, they’ve done a good job."
[.....]
In short, they weren't having the transcripts read back for their health; there's something to review, something that is remaining at the forefront of their considerations.

“They’re definitely hanging up on something," said Feyzjou. ".....
[.....]
At this moment, there isn't much certainty besides the fact that the jury will be returning at 9 a.m. tomorrow. A mistrial wouldn't even guarantee a case closure.

Tuesday, June 5th:
*Trial continues VERDICT WATCH! (Day 8) (@ 9am OR 9:30am PT) CA - Rebecca 'Becky' Annaleigh Friedli (18), Vicki Friedli (53) & Jon Hayward (55) (Mom's BF) (Sept. 17, 2006) - *Cristin Conrad Smith (27/17 @ time of crime) faces LWOP (juvenile @ time of crime) accused/charged with 3 counts of murder w/special circumstances allegedly of committing multiple murders. Plead not guilty.
*Robert Lars Pape (28/18 @ time of crime) (ex-BF) charged with 3 counts of murder w/special circumstances allegedly of committing multiple murders; faces the LWOP. Plead not guilty.
6/5/18: The jurors have deliberated so far approximately 41.5 hours (by my calculations).
No court on Fridays. Maybe...

Well, I checking all three tweeters - and nothing about the case, just about Kate Spade and polling places...

I shall keep checking though!
