I wonder if he was concerned about possible evidence he left on the north side of the lake............maybe not even related to Chelsea, but to another victim?

where would i access that trail? ive lived in san diego for 21 years and have actually never walked those trails! i guess if i wanted to go on that trail, where would i enter from?

I still am not sure that JAG is not the same person I saw on Feb 14th on the North side of the lake (First posted here 2/28 @6:15am) and reported to the Sheriff on Feb 29th. It is still really bothering me.

I reported that yesterday. A talk radio show interviewed a man who said he went to school with JAG. He said his father knew JAG's father and when the family moved to the mountain area when this guy was in 8th grade, his father encouraged him to be friends with JAG. He went on to describe JAG as a loner, weird, and dressing in black "goth" long after it was out of fashion.

This guy may not be on the up and up. I think people will claim they knew him when in fact they never paid any attention to him, so they can't really add anything.

Which pros are you referring to? The sheriff's department has a Search and Rescue team, but at least 37 SAR volunteers were working with them. The volunteers have a minimum of 220 hours (a total of 27.5-8 hour days) of training and are called when needed. And I am aware that the area where Chelsea was found was searched from the land side on Saturday (I have read the news). I don't understand what that has to do with the fact that there were volunteers in the water in the critical area, and not all of them had the same extent of training. You said there were no volunteers, I said there were (and I can point to a news story if that will help).

I'm not sure what point you are trying to make, so I guess I need to clarify mine. We don't know who searched the area where Chelsea was found first, LE or volunteers, or how much training the volunteers had, so it would be understandable if the grave was missed from one side and not the other. Does that clarify what I was trying to say?

Basically you enter the trailhead from the RBCP parking lot and head to the left.

It shows the major access points however there are additional access points as shown on the Google map.

Been thinking about your question for hours now and came up with this may be strategic on the part of the Prosecutor. They may be allowing the earlier attack in Dec. to go first so that they can lay the ground work for special circumstance Lying in Wait. With conviction on that charge first may benefit the prosecution by showing patterns of JAG stalking of victims.

1) The Jesmond Dene Park incident from fall of 2009 with the gold sedan
2) Lake Elsinore October 2009 incident with the gold sedan/gun attempted abduction and the sketch matching JAG but lighter hair
3) the 2/25/2010 stalking incident at Bernardo Heights (same day Chelsea was abducted) with a black sedan similar to the one seen in JAG's family's driveway
4) the 11/4/2009 incident in Ramon with a black sedan

Also on the map: Amber Dubois' abduction site, the site of the 12/2009 attack at the same area where Chelsea was attacked/killed

If someone would dig for (on girls/teens/younger women):

a) reported incidents (including Peeping Tom's, besides the one I posted here) at the Westwood Club (92127) just up the street from JAG's family's home
b) reported incidents/attacks/stalking/etc. especially (but maybe at any parks) at the Kit Carson Park in Escondido (it's just one exit up from Lake Hodges) - and there have been many in the last year I've heard on the news, but if we could compile them, that'd be great

Doing the same for Lake Elsinore and Poway (more specified to unsolved attacks, stalkings, or attempted abductions since those areas are a bit larger) would probably help, too!

Then I'll add them, with links to articles/sources, to the map. I think this is really just the beginning and we may find others worth looking at.

Have you been working on a timeline TravelingBug? Your map is great but I would like to see a TimeLine it might make this whole thing easier to follow as I know alot of people didnt read thread 1 and thread 2 and same ole questions keep reappearing time and time again.
 
I'm watching Larry King right now, Chelsea's parents are on.

I haven't felt so badly about a case since Laci. Haven't allowed myself to get involved too heavily, but poor Chelsea makes me angry!

One thing I noticed....when people are INNOCENT, etc., they always refer to the person in the present tense (somewhat O/T). I just have so many thoughts in my mind about this poor girl.

Our children are NOT SAFE. What can we do to put these monsters away for good? One strike, you're done :furious:

My point about the search was that i believe i read that her shoe wsa found Friday and it was very close to where body was found Tuesday...and I assume no one was allowed into the area (i.e. JAG) after shoe was found, so it just seems weird to me that it took 4 more days to find her body as if I found a shoe, I think I would have considered she could be nearby and have searched that area carefully...that is all i was saying...just wish it had not taken so long I guess, so she did not have to be out there so long. I don't think he could or would have placed her there afterward.

I think maybe he was damp and dirty when arrested just because he may have been living outside or out of a vehicle since Thursday, maybe not gone back to his mother's house at all. And as someone suggested, maybe crawling around trying to find a place to watch the search, which would be a characteristic of this type of offender.
