That's at the Happy Mart. LE is searching further down near the water tower. I wonder where this group is headed?

This map shows where the Ono Store & International Cafe is in relation to other known streets.

Deputies combed through the areas of Igo and Ono, near Clear Creek Road and Cloverdale Road, asking residents and workers at businesses in the area if they had surveillance video from the day Ember went missing.

"They just asked if we had cameras," said Alyssa Reed, a waitress at the Ono Store & International Cafe. "They told us if anyone around here had footage to let deputies know."

MG has pets, but likely so do neighbors. If we look at the street on a map, we can see that animals could easily roam freely throughout all the properties there.

Any dog from any owner could have accessed that yard.

I ask this theoretical question to all, not just the OP of this quote...

If YOUR dog harmed a baby and you found out, would you tell and risk your own freedom, or keep silent and figure what's done is done?

I answer you with another question - Are you a mother or a father? I assume and excuse me, I hope you aren't.

If you look at Google street view of Happy Stop (it's from 2012) the market sells regular unleaded, diesel and propane. I think the diesel is sort of set up like what I think it called a card-lock facility and I would think you would have to pay inside (the pumps look pretty archaic). So he goes in with Ember, buys snacks and pays for whatever type of gas his truck takes. Wonder how much that sale was for? A full tank? 10 bucks? How much gas is left in the truck now?

I don't see any surveillance cameras at the fire district building across the street. Darn

Smart questions.

When I think of a sitting there "stone faced" I think of someone who has an unreadable expression. Like, there is no expression and they could be listening to a boring TV show by the look on their face.

MG's face is raw with pain, IMHO. This portrait of them - IMHO - is a picture of two parents absolutely raw with grief over their child.

I wouldn't say his face is raw with pain. But he doesn't look totally stone faced. He does look unhappy. But then again, he was the last person to see his baby alive, he is clearly a suspect and he's not cooperating with police.

He is also a liar, lying about key info that was pivotal in locating his daughter. So yeah, he has a lot to be upset about. I just don't think the death or disappearance of his daughter is what has him upset.

I didn't read the post as GigTu saying "I would keep silent." I just read it as the hypothetical. And while I would fall apart if my pet hurt any child, I'm sure there are lots of people, including parents, who wouldn't say a thing.

I was confirming the article that reported he had pumped gas. Someone wondered why he had parked so far from the store.

yes, thank you for your help :D

but that's not LE? who are all those people? is that a search organization or the general public again?

Looks to be general public and The Exec. Dir. of NorCal Alliance for the Missing

That's what I read too. So they're based at Happy Mart while LE is out at the water tower (with their porta potties). Two different searches.

Wow. I think the telegraph completely missed the mark on almost all the facial expressions, unless "disgust" to them can mean something like disappointment at a sporting event. And their "anger" look more like irritated befuddlement. As in, "what? We replaced the car battery, and now it still won't start anyway?"

Interesting. For me her expression matched up with sad but I didn't see one that reminded me of his.

OT: I've also seen studies about how people interpret facial expressions differently, and how some people read an expression as negative even when it's neutral. It's fascinating stuff.

This is my first post. :)

I live about 16 min from the Happy Mart, along Gas Point Road near the GP Market and the Elementary School. We're only 3 minutes from I-5 and MG could have driven a LOT further than suspected. I keep thinking of old wells in the area.

I am also trained to read body language. MG is 100% guilty. In the vigil footage, you can see one point, when JG is speaking, where he looks off and then kind of tucks his chin down. His eyes are filled with guilt, but he is also super terrified of getting caught.

Any idea where this is?

I think this may be the answer as water usually is. It was a quick answer, no need to dig or risk being seen as much. I think MG is getting sick as searchers get closer. Wouldn't be surprise if we hear of one more fatality by the time this is all over.
