Oops I thanked before reading but totally DISAGREE with these thoughts. They have PLENTY of hard evidence on CL I don't doubt at least life if not DP for one minute. He is DONE, I only wish NL was done as well.

I'm sorry, I might have missed some new developments then. Please catch me up on this hard evidence on Chris..

Who are the other two with more of a motive?

Follow the money, or rather the motive. What's more motivating? And what's least motivating?

A. Your wife finding out that you've impregnated the woman whom she already knows you cheated with.
B. Your spouse might leave you for the woman he cheated with and got pregnant.
C. Your spouse tells you she wants to leave you for the guy who put his bun in her oven.

But that's not even the main problem. The prosecution expects us to believe that this man who cared so little about his wife and family that he'd be out there four or five times a week screwing some little chippie on the side, even AFTER his wife finds out about it. That he cared that little, and then he'd suddenly care so much about what his wife thinks that he'd kill his own child, and his mistress, and risk being locked away himself, just to make her happy again. I couldn't even sell that storyline to General Hospital.

Truthbeknown, my thoughts and prayers will be with you tomorrow.

77 dark, I think you are missing one key point which may not have had so much to do with his wife as his own selfish motivation. Chris was getting out of the Marines and planned to go back to Alaska. Erin being pregnant may have prevented him from making a clean break with the life he was living in the desert vs. What he wanted to get back to in Alaska. Child custody agreements, paying child support. Perhaps he thought Erin herself might want to move closer to him.

This is a very strong circumstantial case. Also the prosecution had a motion regarding new evidence a few months ago. Have you thought about what that might be?

I certainly agree that he had motive. But there is a huge difference between motive and intent. Richie Rich has motive to kill his parents to inherit their millions, but he has greater motive to keep them around because he loves them. Right? There is no indication that Chris ever took action to protect his family or even himself before the alleged crime. If he was so concerned about his life in Alaska, wouldn't he have stopped the affair after his wife found out the first time?

Big difference between having a reason to act, and taking action. Chris doesn't seem to have enough reason to me. Whereas there is someone in this case who got so angry he had a meltdown and destroyed his apartment.

Just know that we remain steadfast in this journey with you. The path to justice may take much longer than any of us want, but we will remain at your side for as long as it takes!

I think it comes down to CL being the last person Erin was known to be with. Sure JC was mad enough to destroy the apartment, but there isn't any indication that he was involved in her death, imo.

CL met Erin outside the base (where her car was left), had the matching rebar in his vehicle, etc. The fact that LE was able to arrest him, and keep him in jail, is very telling. San Bernardino PD don't mess around, but any PD would make sure they have enough evidence before arresting someone.
Perhaps NL was involved/knew. I think maybe not involved, but knew.
I doubt JC was, or LE would've arrested him as well.

We'll know more about evidence very soon.
Motive, though; He possibly impregnated a woman that he was apparently having sex with and he didn't want his wife to find out. Or, his wife found out and he had to "take care of the situation" either with or without his wife's prodding.
