Ok, I found the link.:)

California police scour surveillance footage from base where Marine's wife vanished

Capt. Justin Smith, a spokesman for the Marine Corps base in Twentynine Palms, said security footage was given to detectives with the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department for review, after Corwin was last seen leaving the base and later reported missing. It's not known what clues, if any, the videos might have provided.

Does anyone have Erin's personal FB link handy?
TIA

Can someone (mod?) link me the TOS for posting here and via PM?
I'm a little confused about what I can and cannot post in here, but I seem to be too technologically defective to find the TOS :/

TWO apartments searched but not believed to be where the Corwin's lived? Anyone care to take a guess why? I could see one apartment as a possible crime scene, location for evidence. But two? Does this indicate the possibility of two perps?

So was Erin seen on camera leaving the base alone? Or don't we know?

Regarding questions about the scene in Twentynine Palms - on and off the base, you might want to take a look at Twentynine Palms: A True Story of Murder, Marines, and the Mojave, about two girls who were raped and killed by a Marine after the Gulf War. One of the girls was about to turn 16. This book was an LA Times "best book of the year" and got many great reviews. Here are two links, one to the book page, and the other to a piece on the subject...

Yes, I'm a little confused on that as well. I have no answer for you and can only speculate.

here is the general area:

(can be found from the main page of the general forum under rules: http://www.websleuths.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?159-The-Rules)

In general we can only "sleuth" the missing person and any persons that are named a suspect or person of interest by Law Enforcement. In this case we only have Erin missing and no one else has officially been named. While there is a car mentioned by witnesses there is no person named and the same goes for the limited info that was reported on any warrants.

There is never any sleuthing of witnesses or family members/social media contacts of the missing person.

Hope this helps.
