No word whatsoever regarding the Range Rover, that I have seen anyway.

Unless it has been found the the apt building's garage by now, you'd think police would put out a public notice to be on the look out for that vehicle, or if anyone saw it, as is usual for a missing person investigation. They have the description, photos, and the license plate in addition to the fact that the plate is the old black and yellow kind, as per an earlier report (unusual these days).

So, do they have the vehicle? Maybe.
Possibly, locating the vehicle would be an impetus for the search warrant.

The 'with guns drawn' part is not so unprecedented, it might be standard operating procedure for police serving a search warrant, there just aren't usually media camped outside to see it happen:
Florida: "The 31-second video Jones posted on Twitter shows agents entering her home with their guns drawn. ” Florida police raid COVID data whistleblower’s house with guns drawn

Chicago: "As they rushed inside with guns drawn, officers yelled, “Police search warrant,” and “Hands up, hands up, hands up.” " ‘You Have the Wrong Place:’ Body Camera Video Shows Moments Police Handcuff Innocent, Naked Woman During Wrong Raid

Just noting the home which was searched seems to have been built in 2018/19. The Google cap is dated March 2019, construction financing provided by a lending institution I think we've seen mentioned somewhere? Not sure who owns it.

It doesn't look like the building in the search warrant footage...does it? It's an apartment complex.

ETA: this refers to the address I got from clicking the google link in your post. Sleuthing shows a nearby address is the one that was searched.

I'm going to guess the RR will be found dumped at the airport in some long term area.
By whom, I have no clue.
Just a comment with no implication whatever: but there is a pattern in what has usually happened to missing (blond or not blond) women, and it isn't connected to the world of financial high flyers.

I pray security footage is preserved, but I have a bad feeling that one or more individuals are actively erasing it. Something stinks about this scenario.
Yep I agree with you there @Trackergd , something is way off here and very concerning, bad vibes all around I’m afraid……

Why would a high end apartment building advertise such high level security if they are NOT going to let LE have access to it? What’s the point of all that security if you aren’t going to share that info with LE in the event of a crime? Maybe because what the cameras caught implicate someone who owns or is invested in the building…who are they really trying to protect? I can’t see this as just a ‘privacy’ issue especially now with LE & MSM involved. This is all MOO and speculation only.

MOO about the witness protection issue…I can’t see this particular woman going into WP without her son. There’s no way she would leave him and leave him vulnerable. Whomever is out to get her would know that the child would be an easy way to get to her and bring her out of WP. If they suspected she was in WP they could easily get to her through attempting to harm or harming the child.

Also how many WP persons have been listed as an MP and had this many resources invested in locating them? I’m sure there have been a few maybe to throw the perpetrators off the track…but this doesn’t feel like that to me. I feel like something terrible happened to this woman. The apartment complex needs to be transparent with LE. They are looking more and more suspicious as time goes on and I have a feeling that by the time LE does get that info the tapes/hard drives will be blank.

MOO and speculation only.

Security footage released by the LAPD shows Heidi leaving her home with her dog prior to arriving at her son’s game.

Her ex-husband, Jim Wayne, who has 50/50 custody of their son, told Dateline that she left their son’s football game at halftime and appeared to be a little “edgy” and “antsy.”

“She was a little bit antsy, yes. I don’t know why,” Jim said. “All I know is that was the last time I saw her or talked to her.”

Over the next few days, there were no texts or calls from Heidi to her son, which Jim said was extremely unusual. But Jim assured his son that his mother would be there to pick him up at school on October 20, which was her next scheduled day to have him.

Jim told Dateline that the security to get access to each door and floor in that building is extensive and that he doesn’t know how the dog got into the building and up to the 28th floor. He added that he also doesn’t know why Heidi would be in the building.

Both Jim and one of Heidi’s best friends, Danielle Nadolny, told Dateline that they are doing everything they can to keep her name in the public in the hope that someone with information will come forward.

“I just want to know where my friend is,” Danielle said, adding that Heidi's son called her wondering where his mother was. “He needs his mother. We all need her home safe."

“He was doing OK until he saw a photo of them the other day - and then he just broke down,” Jim said. “He told me that he just wanted one more time to talk to her. That hurt. That was really painful.”

“What kid wants to spend his birthday without his mom,” he said. “We’re just hoping for a miracle and that she comes home.”

Surely if the dog was found in the building, police would have some kind of warrant by now, but I just think they would be very quiet about it, no news crew camped out front filming as uniformed officers entered, with guns drawn, etc.

I wonder who gave the media the tip about the impending search of Heidi's home. I wonder whether that was deliberate, a bit of theatre for anyone with a guilty conscience who might see it on the news?

“If you need a ride, if you’re stuck somewhere or you need a ride, she’ll come get you, or you need a ride to go somewhere, she’ll take you there,” John said. “You know, she’s extremely smart and, you know, just a very good human person, but you know, you have a lot of friends. Heidi was not one of those friends. She was a real friend, a friend you can depend on.”

“I want you to know that you have so many friends that love you. Friends that we’ve never met, that we’ve met now and we all will be friends. We’re kind of stuck together in this. But we all love you. We’re rooting for you. We want to see you,” John said.

I guess I was referring more to the part of the OP's post "by whom I have no clue".

In the absense of other leads, it's well known who police will be looking at first.

For sure they are, and they should, however I'm not getting any of the usual vibes about the ex from this case, are you? He's been super open and proactive and trying to get her name out there. Unless we find out her ex lived in the complex in which her dog was found, I think the answers lie elsewhere.

100% agree. I will be shocked if her ex has anything to do with this.
