There is no evidence that Chase was demoted. The sense I got was that the iron work, was always outsourced, and Chase's job of final touches, etc, was the same as it ever was. Metro had that gig because of Chase. And Joe, the owner, had issues with Joey.
But they didnt trust him and he was denied unsupervised access, and worked sporadically. Per testimony, sorry no link.

OK. Link to this please. Where in any of the evidence does even the DA claim that this occurred? You can't just make things up-unless you qualify that you are doing so. As you have said, please back up any assertions with evidence that supports that assertion.
I don’t need a link as I am only replying to your previous post. IMO

Yes. But you are guessing, and there is absolutely no evidence to support that guess.

There is some evidence of that position. Joey looked at his account that morning before the lunch meeting, and called his bank, but didn't immediately report the fraud. So it does seem like he didnt want to open an investigation the the time.

Or steal Joey's business from both Chase and Joey. Maybe someone should be looking a little closer at where the Sequiedas were on the days in question.

oh come on...o_O...we are now going to point fingers at random business associates to try and deflect from the jailed defendant?

Well, Dan still got something out of it in the end, Chase, not so much, and I am not sure he wanted to anyway, that would have been way more work than he really wanted to put into any job IMO LOL

Based on the state's theory of the crime, Dan is really the only known person who had motive. But I'm not sure I'm buying the state's theory.

Naaa if they wanted to steal it, it could have been done easily after the McStay's disappeared, just like I feel that if Chase's end goal was to take over the company, he would have put more effort into that in those months after JMO

I have a feeling that Sequieda Sr. may have liked Chase, Jr. didn't... Sr. and Jr. seemed to have their own issues and didn't get along, this would have just been another thing where they didn't see eye to eye. Sequieda Sr. seemed to be more ticked that Joey wouldn't tell him the selling price of the fountains, thus, calling him a crook. JMO based off of Sequieda Jr.'s and Carmens testimony.

I am not convinced that poker rooms do not use surveillance cams. I have seen the opposite, in fact:

There use in the poker is “limited” no one ever said that video wasn’t used. In addition it's of lower quality and not archived for long.

I don't think that's the kind of poker room we are talking about... @Texas Red ?

either way... I did say "limited". I didn't say non-existent. I still don't even know when he was first asked where he was on the 4th.

I don't think that is correct. Originally Joey hired Chase to do the iron work. That changed after he began getting complaints and after Chase began being irresponsible and missing deadlines. JMO

Kevin Boles, in his testimony before the grand jury on the indictment of Robert Pape, claimed that he was in San Bernardino and pinged a tower 30 miles away in the Arrowhead mountains. He speculated that this was due to the altitude of the tower in Arrowhead. The towers in question, during the time period that Chase is believed to have been at the gravesite, are at a much higher altitude than the surrounding towns. If Boles is to be believed, Chase may have been as far as 30 miles from those towers when he pinged them.

Is this the Pinyon Pines one? I have read that as well.
