defense was overruled---the CNN clip will be played
They are playing much of it---50 second clip I believe
Katy I cant watch it on my phone but is the judge going to rule it too prejudicial when he disparaged Summer and the children? Tia
Only 50 seconds of the entire thing?
why? Trials allow that all of the time. They don't always use the entire interview. IN fact, the defense fought hard to keep some of it out.If the judge allows only a clip taken out of context without the complete interview then I believe he's committing a reversible error.

Because it's been edited. The defense is contending that CM completed the statement in question with the caveat (in Rancho Cucamonga) and CNN has edited that part out.why? right now they are just discussing that one minute portion--I don't know how much they will try to admit overall
'but I was definitely the last person who saw him'...in Rancho Cucamonga. That part was not edited out...[ he says he last saw him in RC, and others may have spoken to him...'but I was definitely the last person who saw him'

Are any of the witnesses being paid for the testimonies? If so, Sgt. Smith is making a fortune.

How do you know what was edited?
