Katherine Jackson not missing, just playing Uno

"She is safe and with family members," L.A. Sheriff's Deputy Don Walker read from a statement Monday morning, L.A. Now reported.

"When I got there, Katherine Jackson and her family were at the dinner table and had just finished a game of Uno,” a Pima County sheriff’s deputy told X17 Online, adding that Jackson was on vacation.

Also, Trent Jackson is now being investigated for elder abuse, according to X17.

Not one of these articles since last evening has addressed the issue: WHY hasn't she called her grandchildren, of whom she has full legal custody? This is atypical behavior for Mrs. Jackson.

This current situation is beyond bizarre, but family history aside (assuming one can do that)....there should be reason for concern if any child's "guardian" is unavailable to them....

Is it too simplistic of a scenario that Paris and her siblings request to see their grandmother/guardian with a doctor (the grandmother's or someone of their choosing)....and given the circumstances, with an LE escort?

A phone call from AZ police seems to be falling way short of the mark...

Just because that deputy came upon the 'sweet' family scene of a dinner and a game of UNO, that does not mean that was all that was going on.

I thought Katherine was on a trip to see a concert, and yet she never arrived at that destination. Why not?

And why, if she was just wanting to hang out and play UNO, why didn't she communicate with her grandchildren, who she is the legal guardian and caretaker of.

I've just caught up with this thread and am even more confused.

Uno at a table full of dirty dinner dishes and someone being investigated for elder abuse for filing a missing persons report?

Since when does anyone get investigated for elder abuse as a result of filing a missing persons report? Filing a false police report, perhaps, if it was done knowingly.

*If* this is a vacation, and that is a strong if, why hasn't Mrs. Jackson been in contact with Paris and her siblings?

Nothing about this makes sense. It looks staged to me too. And I can't think of one reason why this woman wouldn't be in contact with her grandchildren - especially if she knows one of them is concerned for her and thinks she is missing!
