A Sept. 17 jury trial date was set for a Hillsborough woman charged with conspiring to murder the father of her two children — along with two alleged co-conspirators Wednesday, according to the San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office.

The almost 2-year-old case was set for a March 12 jury trial Jan. 2 when Olivier Adella, 42, withdrew his waiver to his right to a speedy trial. He reinstated his waiver Wednesday after attorneys for 32-year-old Tiffany Li and her 31-year-old boyfriend Kaveh Bayat made motions to delay the trial for further preparation earlier this month, according to prosecutors.

Though Tiffany Li’s bail conditions previously did not allow her to have physical contact with her children per an order from the family law court, a judge in that court recently granted her request for supervised child visitation, according to prosecutors.“ (BBM)

How does this happen? Who is her attorney??

The trial for a Hillsborough woman charged with conspiring to murder the father of her two daughters was delayed for nearly a year to August of 2019 Wednesday to give her time to undergo cancer treatment and allow the defense attorney for her co-defendant and boyfriend to complete work on an unrelated murder trial slated for April.

Under California law, Adella has served his time - a year and a half of a maximum three-year sentence.

"And he has done that, he has been in custody of this jail for over one and a half years and, therefore, we arrived at the conclusion that he would be released from custody," Wagstaffe said.

Hillsborough heiress murder trial: bail reduction denied for boyfriend

San Mateo County Superior Court Judge Robert Foiles rejected a request by an attorney for Kaveh Bayat to either reduce his bail to $1 million or free him without any bail.

Bayat's bail was kept at $35 million. Prosecutors say Bayat conspired with his girlfriend Tiffany Li to kill Keith Green in 2016
