the family has walked every route possible, used drones, got the pings from her cell phone, hired a private airplane to search the area...everything. Please continue to share the flyer, please have people continue to look for signs of accidents in the area, and please make her face known. The family is just besides themselves. Thank you all so much

What route did her phone ping pattern show? Did they search south of Palmdale, as if she actually did head south thinking she was in Tulare?

I'm so sorry. I wish I was close to help search. :(

The story was picked up in media. Her poor daughter. http://www.foxla.com/news/253296211-video#/

Also, a clarification on being "impaired". Per her daughter in the news report, Lisa has vision issues, and doesn't see well at night. Her friend did not want her to leave Fillmore because it was dark.

Commenters on the FB story are saying that is only partially why she was asked to not drive.

Who was she meeting at Lake Isabella? Did she get in contact with those persons?

WHERE IS SHE? I can't believe she hasn't been found. It's been over a week and a half.

I just saw a post begging the police to release her cell phone records they've had since LAST Thursday :( I cannot believe it would take so long. It's cell phone records. So heartbreaking to do all you can and be stuck because you don't have anything else to go on. UGH!

"We have exhausted every possible lead that was generated."

Initial reports stated that Harvey, 51, had driven all the way to Tulare County north of Bakersfield, where she was said to have called a friend saying she missed the turnoff for Lake Isabella. But investigators later learned that Harvey had, in fact, made the call from Palmdale around 11:50 p.m. on April 29.

A clerk at an ARCO gas station in Palmdale told investigators that Harvey had asked for directions, and he misunderstood her destination and mistakenly told her how to get to Lake Elizabeth.

Investigators later looked at surveillance video from the gas station, but they were unable to find any sign that Harvey had been at the station.

The Los Angeles Sheriff's Department was in the process of taking over the search since Harvey was last heard of in Palmdale.

There must be a reason. Are the police out searching for her too?

Her general age, body type and height reminds me of Stacey Smart. I'm convinced of foul play in Smart's case.... not so sure about Harvey. There really seems indication of an accident. Is there a case map yet??

Hoping for this mama's safe return!

BBM - This is very scary! Hopefully they are fully investigating that lead.... hate to think someone is intentionally try to throw off the investigation.

When this very first came out, I read that the police wouldn't search until 30 days out due to her being an adult. But, then later I read that the park rangers were aware and were on the lookout but I don't know about police looking other than they are aware she is missing????

At this point I have just started following the FB pages rather than trying to message with my friend (she is Lisa's family) in the beginning. I was trying to help direct them on what to do with a missing persons case from what I have followed here and once they started the FB pages, I went ahead and left them alone because I know it has to be crazy for them. I'm not local so there isn't much I can do other than in the beginning of directing. They have tried to answer any and all questions on their FB pages and have been open to what they have found so far, which isn't much. I think the WS rules do not allow me to bring over questions and comments, only to direct others to the FB pages....which I know can be challenging if someone doesn't have FB :/

Missing person, missing car, lost and needs directions, destination is a body of water but given directions to the wrong body of water.... ? No physical signs of an accident from the birds eye view??

These are very frightening facts.

I'm concerned by the fact that she wasn't seen on video at that gas station, and that the station attendant provided misinformation to her. I'm not suggesting it was anything deliberate, but there are some red flags that warrant a thorough investigation of the person/people in and around that station.

My thoughts too! Who was it he talked to if no one is seen on camera????

It's getting weird now.

However, I still think we need to recall that Lisa thought she was in Tulare, when in fact she was in Palmdale. She was VERY lost. I hope searchers have followed the roads SOUTH of Palmdale as well. If Lisa thought she needed to head south, she may have ignored the gas station attendants instructions, which would have led her north to "Elizabeth Lake". Maybe she knew the info was wrong. *shrugs*

It's hard for me to understand how people can get lost with today's GPS technologies...

Family did tell me she was NOT tech savvy at all. It's hard for me to think of someone traveling without an old fashioned GPS at least (if you don't have a newer phone with mapping), especially if you are travelling at night.
