That is why there are so many possible victims for these predatory human traffickers. Once a young person, male or female, runs away from home or from foster care or a halfway house, they are very vulnerable to being taken by traffickers. And LE is not going to be aggressive in looking for them. :mad:

McCulloch said two men who were allegedly with Sarah have been taken into custody, and said they aren't able to say anything more because of the ongoing investigation.


I sure wish we knew who they arrested and on what charges?

They seem to be runaways but deserve some digging.
I didn't even come close to being halfway through the list but have to go back to work.
FWIW, they are not releasing the names of the two men arrested in connection with Sarah's disappearance. That makes me tend to believe those two were part of something bigger. Man, I hope they bust up a big ring. Even if Mari wasn't part of it, just knowing other girls are rescued is awesome.

ETA: Katy, that's exactly why I wanted an arrest log. Does Venice have one?

I purposely left out Stacey Smart just because she didn't fit the demographic of all the other missing women but she too went missing in Yolo County (same as Papini) on 11-02-16 (same as Papini) I broke the list down into NorCal and SoCal. Making this list made me extremely sad. There are so many women missing under really suspicious circumstances and unfortunately, I was not able to find too much, if any information on some of them. Something is definitely going on in CA. I took my search back to Sept 2016 but there was not many missing women until November and now it seems like it's non stop.

I am now working on making a list in Albuquerque, however, with all the info from the West Mesa Murders, it is a little difficult to find other info. I will post that as soon as I have it.

Stacy was found wondering near the side of 14 Freeway seemingly disoriented and confused.
No other information released after she was found.

LOL---that's exactly why WS requires police reports and missing cases numbers before we can open a formal thread.
 
Hey guys. If a FB account suddenly friends someone, that doesn't necessarily mean that person is on FB, right? The Maricela Bella account just added a friend. The guy didn't receive it a long time ago and he just accepted it. There is no way this girl is hiding out and suddenly adding friends on FB. Doesn't make sense. The siblings swear they don't have her password.
Thoughts?
 
I'm a bit confused by your wording...the guy DIDN'T receive it long ago, so you're saying that the guy says the request was sent to him recently, correct? Hmm. If he was the one to accept it, then the MB account is the one who sent it, that's for sure...but if it was sent months ago or whatever, then it would have just sat there until he clicked accept, and the MB account would show just today that the friend was added.

Right? Hmm.
 
Mistivon --. The map is completely updated. The list you brought forward is now missing quite a few. The three links you added of the three girls were already on the map.

That's awesome that girl that was connected to CA and Albuquerque is okay. I thought that sounded weird from the beginning.

There have definitely been times where I didn't realize I had a friend request on FB and then I'll get another one and notice the one missed and I don't think it tells you when it was initially sent (if I remember correctly). Maybe that is what happened?

YES, that is correct. MG might have sent him a Fr request months ago. And if he never clicked 'accept' until now, nothing would happen until he did that. And no one on her side has to do anything to her account for the friend request to now show as 'accepted.'
 
My boss said this about this case- a puzzle can nearly be completed with most of the pieces and at least you'd see the big picture at the end. This case is like a 500 piece puzzle with only 5 pieces (and 3 of the 5 belong to a different puzzle)
Until we're given more accurate "pieces" , we'll keep spinning our wheels.

Yes, that could have been sent long ago and just now accepted. Sometimes email notifications will let you know when a friend request is sent, etc., but it depends on your settings. And on your profile page you can see all notifications but it is a tedious search because it is sorted by day.

I do find it odd that if you follow or belong to the Missing MG's FB page her relatives try to friend request you. I am sure people only accept friend requests if you know them personally. Just saying....
