The DNA the defense was talking about was DNA on her breast which was inconclusive but the DNA on the knot of the yellow tank top used to kill was found to be Bealers.

Jurors got the murder case mid-Thursday afternoon following closing arguments by the attorneys.

But jurors were sent home Friday morning after an issue centering on a juror arose, bringing deliberations to a standstill.

The court spokeswoman, however, declined Monday to classify the issue that has held up deliberations as one of potential jury misconduct.
