I am a cynic...found this to be a possible fake at the start. Maybe we will hear more.

I hate these type of cases, especially if she was in on it. It makes it harder for real missing persons cases to be prosecuted, especially without a body. It is possible that someone who worked for her dad in that apartment complex was involved and she really was taken, I just don't know yet.

This one came time-stamped 13 o'clock, and bearing a Hinkyville dateline.

Wouldn't be the first time someone faked their own kidnapping to try to get money from relatives.

It doesn't seem like anyone tried to get money from her family. They didn't find out until after the boyfriend went to the police. That makes me wonder if he owed someone money, tried to raise it but couldn't and then went to the cops. We don't know much about him, just that he worked at the same medical center as she did. There's a blurry pic in the Mail Online article, but I don't know how to embed it.

This is a bizarre case. And it reeks of inconsistencies and b.s. all around. At this point, with her being interviewed by the police, they'll get to the bottom of this whole pile of shenanigans and make the appropriate arrests. I just hope we get to hear about it. IMO. (P.S. Huntington Beach is not cheap to live in.)

None of this makes sense to me. Either she and/or her boyfriend were a part of this or those kidnappers were really stupid, or both. Of course, JMO, but really?

I thought she was in on it from the beginning but didn't want to say anything. JMO. The overtime involved in the case of Sahray Barber will cost that city around $20,000. I hope this isn't a copy cat of the worst kind.

The San Francisco Chronicle disclosed they had received an anonymous email on Tuesday from someone claiming to be holding DH.

The message said that DH 'will be returned safely on Wednesday. We will send a link to her location after she has been dropped off. She will be in good health and safe while she waits. Any advance on us or our associates will create a dangerous situation for DH. Wait until she is recovered and then proceed how you will. We will be ready.'

At least no "Don't try to grow a brain John."

Wait until she is recovered and then proceed how you will. We will be ready.

Referencing the Chronicle e-mail. Did the alleged kidnapper(s) get money from this newspaper?
I'll be sick to my stomach if this entire thing is a ruse and she got away with it.

Police said Wednesday that 29-year-old DH, who was kidnapped from a Vallejo home Monday morning, was found safe.
Lt. Kenny Park of the Vallejo Police Department told reporters at a press conference Wednesday morning they were still treating the case as a kidnap and ransom situation."There's nothing to indicate otherwise," he said.
