Wow! ...This!
It would be interesting to know if LE has contacted Jeep to see if Maya had a tracking device on the Jeep that could trace the places LM went on the New Year's Camping trip.

Time will tell, as it takes a warrant, a response, and then analysis of this type of data.

Good thoughts to the entire family, especially the children.

Edited to add: And, of course, on Maya's car (Lexus?) that LM drove on Friday, January 8.

They could also check the Jeep's air filter to see if there is any sand, similar to sand from the dunes, assuming the sand is different from the sand at say, Salano beach. Could that be why he said he went to the beach that Friday? Was there sand in or on the Jeep? And sand from where?

This might be difficult considering it is known Maya used to trek these areas. IWT it would be near impossible to correlate that definitively?

I know, sadly. But if there was excessive amounts of fresh sand in or on the car, and it is proven to not be sand from Solana, then maybe they can rule that location out? With a small child, at the beach all day, that Jeep should have sand in it.

Wonder if LM is on any local (or Solana Beach) CCTV cameras cleaning the Jeep Friday or Saturday? ETA: Or better yet, around the dunes. I hope that too much time hasn't passed by for info like this. I'm confident LE is figuring it out.

He didn't drive the Jeep to Solana Beach that Friday though. He took Maya's Lexus.

Officers also impounded a black Lexus SUV, which the husband was believed to be driving on Friday, January 8, the day after Millete was last seen, according to family members. The SUV had a personalized license plate, MAYLANI.

Larry Millete told officers he drove his four-year-old son to the beach in the Lexus on that Friday, according to family members, who also said they tried unsuccessfully that day to reach the husband on his cell phone.

“They left at 6:30 a.m. in the morning to go to Solana Beach and they didn't come back until about 5 p.m. in the afternoon,” Drouaillet said.

Well this case just seems to get shadier and shadier. Perps are dumb. She’ll be found.

Always. Let's not forget that LM was a watcher of true crime shows, though, so he's a thinker (maybe), and possibly has more knowledge of how to get away with a crime than the average person. He told us that in his interview, so it feels significant. Imo.

Most are yes. But I can think of quite a few where many years later the misssing woman hasn't been found. Hopefully that won't be the case here. I tend to think it won't be.

There wouldn't be sand from Solana Beach, you can't take vehicles on the sand, in fact majority of parking is off street in the residential neighborhoods.

That's what I was thinking - maybe they have cell phone pings or GPS there from LM on the day of his "Solana Beach" trip.

He didn't take his phone he said. Who doesn't take their phone all day? Someone who doesn't want the cell towers pinging.

I wonder where he works or what line of business he is in. That would give an idea of the places he's familiar with... like when the perp dumped Danielle van Dam's body - along a road he knew because he frequented a rural indian casino.

Not taking his phone for a 10 hour excursion is super super sus.

This is just me thinking out loud. It might not make any point or sense, just trying to figure out things. Hope it sparks some thoughts in others. Please share your own thoughts.

How well would a Lexus handle sand dunes? He drove the jeep in Glamis, but would a Lexus handle that terrain? Not familiar with Glamis. I have no idea where they'd be "spots" in Glamis other than sand. People rent ATVs there, but how would he find a good spot. Anyone familiar with Glamis?

I, myself, think there's plenty of places around the local San Diego county area he'd know. True, that he seemed to want to paint a pic of her leaving to go do things she liked to do. Did he set it up where LE and searchers are on a wild goose chase, when Maya is in the general San Diego area?

Picture if something happened Thursday night. Where was Maya? Did dogs hit on the locked bedroom, or any of the cars?

Why the Friday trip to Solana Beach then? Maybe just her phone went there. No, that Friday trip stands out, and he knew it would. Finding a spot must have happened Friday? Only LE knows what they have -- dogs hitting on something, phone pings, GPS, they must feel confident they'll find a body. Don't they have enough to name the suspect? I'm exhausted having this on my mind this whole month. Prayers for Maya's Family. I hope she's found.

BBM. What? I missed that. Well that was certainly an unfortunate thing to say when your wife is missing.

Snipped for focused reply.
I was surprised to learn that there are 4WD Lexus sedans
Lexus AWD Models | All-Wheel Drive Lexus Vehicles | Metro Lexus
That being said, IWT they would not have enough clearance like a Jeep and other ruggedized vehicles, and would likely get stuck quickly. So no, I don't think the Lexus could handle that terrain.

Husband aside, who has not been named a POI and therefor a victim per WS TOS.....

Aren't there a lot of caves in that area?
I know there is a lot of water of course, but that would require acquiring weights and so forth. So sorry to even speculate on these grim details, but after all this time, we have to consider everything it would seem.

And once again....LE needs to either clear the husband, or name him a POI and get those kids out of that house.

What interview was that said in? I feel like that is not true. Please provide a link so we are not passing around rumors or suspicions.
