I just got word that Cecile has been excluded as being Newhall Jane Doe based on dental records.

Wait, so Cecile Moch's dental records are available? NamUs says her dental information is not available and the Doe Network just told me they can't compare her to a UP because she has no fingerprint / dental / DNA records.

It's possible that her dental records may be held locally by the agency that has jurisdiction over her case. Interestingly enough, today is Cecile's birthday. A belated Welcome to Websleuths, Digitective :welcome5: !

Thank you! So crazy about her birthday, I didn't even notice -- what an odd coincidence.
Any tips on what might be best to do here? Should I contact local law enforcement to see if they've checked Cecile's dental records against that Jane Doe's, if the Doe Network is unable to access them?
Is there a reason that local law enforcement would be withholding the dental records and not sharing them with NamUs?

Ah, ok. It sounds like he said her body was buried in Washington and he visited it several times while he lived there, so we can assume she is not this JD.

I'm sure that Doug Clark had almost no involvement with the Sunset Strip murders. It is physically impossible for him to have killed most of them. He had an alibi for 3 out of the 5 murders. Additionally, the evidence for his guilt derives entirely from Carol Bundy, who initially claimed to know nothing about this murder. Later, she did a 180 and provided detailed information about the murder. To me, the likely answer is that John Robert "Jack" Murray, a former boyfriend of Carol that she killed, was her accomplice, NOT Douglas Daniel "Doug" Clark. Murray had torture and BDSM stuff in his van. Seems to me that Murray and Bundy did the murders, then Bundy got Clark to help her dispose of the evidence. Bundy then accused CLARK of being her accomplice.

While Clark is a monstrous human being who molested children, the only evidence that he was a murderer comes solely from Carol Bundy. And considering Clark had alibis...

What about her? Laureen Rahn. Her height is an inch off but other than that it lines up pretty well. From research on her, LE believed she had ties to the California area. They even followed some leads there for her case. It’s a long shot but I thought the pictures looked pretty similar.
