He was reliving what he did’: Serial killer confesses to Miami strangulation murders (with clip)

FEBRUARY 13, 2019

"...Little is the 78-year-old serial killer jailed in Texas who in recent months has stunned law enforcement by confessing to 90 murders across the United States, stretching between the 1960s and the 1980s. He may wind up being America’s most prolific serial killer. Cops have corroborated at least 34 murders. The FBI believes at least 12 happened in Florida.

Now, Miami-Dade police and prosecutors have officially concluded that Little murdered Chapman in 1971 and Brosley in 1976. The evidence is ample. Cold-case homicide detectives David Denmark and Lester Aguilar flew to Texas to interview Little, who recounted the murders in chilling detail.

In a small jailhouse interview room, Little excitedly remembered facts only the killer would know: Brosley’s pronounced limp when he met her a a bar, the chain she wore just before he strangled her in his car, the distinct concrete arches near where he dumped Chapman by the Everglades.

“He was so hyped up on seeing his victims again, his ‘babies,’” said Denmark, who showed him photos of the victims when they were alive.

Said Aguilar: “You could tell he was reliving what he did. He was getting sexually aroused.”.

The Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office has decided it will not charge Little, who is serving life in prison for three murders in California and one in Texas. With Little’s advanced age and the certainty he will die behind bars, both agencies decided clearing the cases “is the appropriate disposition.”..."

Serial killer says drawing of woman was victim he met in Memphis

serial-killer-victim.jpg

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A serial killer with ties to the Mid-South drew pictures of at least 16 of his unidentified victims, and he claims one of the women is from Memphis.
---
Little says he met the woman in Memphis sometime between 1990 and 1997.

He says they engaged in talk of prostitution at which time he strangled her, killed her, put her in the back of his car, drove her across the bridge to the Arkansas side of the Mississippi river and put her body in the river."

Police were unaware of the murder until last year when he confessed to a Texas ranger. The now-78-year-old then turned over a picture, one 16 sketches he drew of his unidentified victims.
---
Hagerman says MPD detectives have been going through old records of bodies found in the Mississippi, trying to find a match.

They also hope someone recognizes the woman Little drew, and they can finally provide some kind of closure.

"I found that doing this, giving people some little bit — not closure — a little bit of what you're giving them can help," Hagerman said.

If you recognize that woman, you are asked to call the FBI at 800-634-4097.

Memphis man believes serial killer’s sketch shows his murdered mother

priscilla-baxter-jones-with-sketch.jpg

A Memphis man says he believes his mother was one of dozens of women murdered by a serial killer decades ago, after seeing a sketch on social media this week that bears a striking resemblance to her.
---
After seeing one of those sketches, Anthony Jones says he believes the woman pictured is his mother.

The last time he saw his mother was Christmas Eve 1996, when he was 15.

“She was like, ‘I love you son… I’m gonna see you for Christmas tomorrow.’ I’m like, ‘Yes ma’am, I’ll see you tomorrow.’ Next day comes, nobody heard from my mama. Day after that, nobody heard from my mama,” he said.

Nearly two weeks later, Priscilla Baxter-Jones was found dead in the Mississippi River.

The 36-year-old prostitute had been raped, stabbed and strangled, Anthony said.
---
And not only did Anthony recognize who he believes without a doubt is his mother, he says he immediately recognized the killer, too.

He believes his mom and Little possibly knew each other for months before her murder, and that he even met him.

“I just seen the older picture first and I automatically knew who he was ‘cause I don’t forget faces. That’s just me. I can’t forget faces,” he said. “My mama’s killer just popped up outta the blue, and he drew a sketch of my mama.”
---
It's worth noting that the family says Jones was stabbed and investigators say Little did not stab any of his victims.

FBI seeks identification for two of serial killer’s victims from St. Louis area

Little drew a sketch of a 26-year-old black woman, possibly named Jo, whom he says he met in St. Louis. She was killed in Granite City sometime in the late 1970's.

Little also confessed to killing another 26-year-old black woman in East St. Louis around the same time. Neither confession has been corroborated by local law enforcement.

"We are hoping that someone -- family member, former neighbor, friend -- might recognize the victim and provide that crucial clue in helping authorities make an identification," said FBI spokesperson Shayne Buchwald. "We want to give these women their names back and their family some long awaited answers. It's the least we can do."

The strategy has worked before, Buchwald said. Women who appeared in two previously released portraits were identified, he said. (I have no idea which one?)

Whoa. That was fast.
The sketch and photo are eerily similar.
Seems like this one is solved.
MOO.

Thank you Alka. Yes, I am bit confused myself at which they are referring to, because the article really is not clear... I keep searching and really would like to know if any of the first set were matched up..Its driving me a bit mad.. especially since I spent time looking and matching women and then this set show up...ugh..

Anyway I am now really wondering does Samuel have access to all these databases or do they show him photos of these women and just ask him to pick out the women he has killed. Because as I have started comparing images I am noticing more and more how it looks like he will take images of the women that are missing and copy them then modify them to his own but still use colors or the items of clothing/jewelry or even background colors. Its weird because I really don't believe he is Just drawing these women from his memory.. Maybe some of the drawing but I don't believe all of it is..

Makes me wonder how in all the articles its mentioned how he considers himself an accomplished artist and art was the only thing he was good at yadda yadda.. I am wondering if he is doing this to claim some fame with His Infamous sketches?..

Reminds me of when Zimmerman copied the flag photo and tried to say it was his
Did Zimmerman Copy a Stock Photo for His ‘Original’ $100k Painting?

For some real weird reasons I do believe what he is saying is the truth or most of it. Also let's not forget he is ill and dying..

Sheer amount of victims Lilrevrun posted, and all the data, it is just really overwhelming..

Yes, very strong resemblance and I too think it might be her. She was found in correct timeframe and even in the same river he claimed he dispose of her.

LE mentions in article that it might not be her as apprently Little did not stabb any of his known victims. (yea, whatever)

I agree, I don't think the stabbing part rules her out. Little might have left out that detail. Or perhaps the stab wounds were caused by throwing her in the river/animal activity after death.
Everything else fits and that portrait is dead on accurate.

Omg this totally looks like her! See I really believe he looks at the images because they are drawn exactly like the person in the photo.
