Has LE suspended all active searches for Pearl? That would seem a bit early after the disapearnce?
This story seems eerily similar to the Sierra Lamar story. Or perhaps, sadly, there are just a lot of young women who are snatched like this. I guess I am now grateful that I was never allowed to walk anywhere alone growing up.
My prayers continue for Pearl's family today.
With all the cameras we have today, you would think the cities could have reviewed them to see from what point (if any) Pearl was in the Saturn and at what point she wasn't. Between the cell phone pings and I'm sure the cameras on the bridge where she was abducted (which are put up for suicide watch generally) there should be footage.

Shows backpack and if you find it, or one similar to notify LE.
Hello, WS. Old poster/new lurker here.I don't think she was ever in the Saturn.

carbuff, would you mind sharing what possibilities you consider likely happened at the end of the bridge?
I agree. I am thinking it was just a typical off to school morning/see you in the evening day and the unthinkable happens.Just thinking of Pearl's family this morning and how difficult this must be for them. I really cannot imagine that unknowing and what it is doing to those who love her.
How far down is the overpass where Pearl was abducted? Is it possible to walk down there? Was ANY of her DNA found in the Saturn? If so, we know she was left somewhere else. If not, she must be nearby the overpass.
I don't know exactly, but I think she was probably already dead before he started driving, and if they had found any evidence of death in the car, I think the last few press releases would have been worded differently.
She's probably within a mile of where he abducted her. Likely less.
