Not much new on Nancy. It's good to see her cover the case, even a little.

The reward has been increased to $7,000 (not sure if that has been posted here or not yet). Her mother was also on the show.
 
79 registered So's within a 5 mile radius. The farthest is 5.9 miles.
 
They said they can't confirm if she ever made it to the second friends house. I wonder why not? Where are these people. Alot of questions not really being answered. I think there is more that they are not telling.
 
IMO, something is off with this guy if LE questioned him 3 times already.

Police have questioned a martial arts instructor three times about his alleged sexual interaction two years ago with an 8-year-old Tracy girl missing since Friday.

Police and the family have confirmed that the man — whose name and age police, family and neighbors withheld — had reportedly kissed Sandra Cantu on the lips while she was swimming in the mobile home park’s pool two years ago. Sandra's 15-year-old brother Thomas Fortin suggested he might be in his 40s or 50s.

The man lives behind the home of Sandra, who was last seen around 4 p.m. Friday before the family reported her missing. More than 73 hours have passed since then.

No one answered the door today at the man’s trailer, and neighbors declined to disclose his name. He is not a registered sex offender, according to the California Department of Justice. In fact, the department lists that no registered sex offenders live in the mobile home park. Police already interviewed all the area’s registrants.

I think I read somewhere else that the 2nd friend was not home. I'm not 100% sure, but I'll try to find the article. I don't think they're hiding anything. I just think the mother is extremely distraught. I know if I had a missing child, I wouldn't be able to tell you my left from my right.

I just don't know what to say! I only meet her 5 times she played with my daughter while my mom watched her swim with them! She wondered the park alot w/OUT an adult! I grew up here and was never wondering around or saw anyone wondering so much as i came and went with my parents! THIS is just so sad and sad but true responsibility lies on the adults. Where were they and what were they doing? I wish she is found safe! GOD BLESS

I know its a park but still she's to young to be roaming around by herself imo.

What are they waiting for?

Really?! Now I'm even more worried!!! I pray to God they have searched every inch of that home - with trained dogs!

I'm also concerned that they keep saying they have no reason to believe she isn't alive and well. You've GOT to be kidding! I know it's good that there is no evidence of foul play, but a young child missing for three days is evidence she is not safe. Couldn't they say, "While we have no evidence she has been harmed, statistics show it is almost certainly an abduction because she has not yet been found. Little girls living alone on the street for several days don't go unreported, therefore we are assuming she has been abducted." That would be factual, but still convey the urgency of the situation. I am very thankful there is no evidence she has been harmed of course, but I feel there is OVERWHELMING evidence she is not well!!! Sigh.

I'm praying for a happy ending for little Sandra!

so, now a bottle of hair dye found yesterday..... wonder if that was near swimming pool man's house? This just keeps getting creepier and creepier!

eta: raise your hands if you have ever seen a hair color bottle lying on the ground
 
I watched Nancy Grace tonight. Mom of Sandra Cantu could barely talk about the timeline of events. She had a family spokesperson there with her.
All understandable, of course.
But, I just got an 'off' feeling in watching the mom.
Supposedly Sandra went to play, was there maybe 5 to 10 minutes, told the friend she was going home to do homework, then, per the security camera, did come home, but stayed less than 2 minutes, then left, turning back into the mobile home park.
Sandra's mom said she did NOT know Sandra had came home for 2 minutes.

So, to me, is mom just not really aware of and watching what Sandra is doing or
does she know something we do not know?

Police notified at 7:53p.m., per Greta VanSustern show. Why the delay with an 8 yr old girl missing?

I am guessing that it was custom for Sandra to run over to friend's homes in the tpark and play outside with not much supervision....I am further guessing that this mom is kicking herself in the a$$ about now for being so trusting of her gated neighborhood with one way in and out.

It is also just my guess that at dinnertime....with no Sandra...Mom becomes worried. If she was working perhaps she got home at five...six....six thirty or seven time to eat and no sandra who most likely always shows back up at dinnertime. She goes out looking for her herself...walks the trailer park...it is now seven thirty... she waits a bit more cannot stand it and calls cops.

The guess on the CC tapes is that she said she didn't know she came home at all for those two minutes because the tapes were reviewed after LE pulled them to see if they captured anything and she was shocked that she came home.....could have been safe...but then headed off in the direction of the back of the trailer park.

I would love to know if her body language revealed anything on those tapes such as her looking up and seeing something, etc...

Of course this was all just my opinion. At this point I just don't see the mom doing something to Sandra... Then again at this point we don't know where anyone was at this time including the three older sibblings, the mother, and the grandparents.

I guess that makes a whole bunch of NOTsense at this point.....

I hope she is found soon. My. Hinky. Meter. Is. Ticking.

they were in the process of serving two sw's on 3/30 on vehicles, etc

LE said Sandra was captured on the camera entering the home after walking from her friends

she was INSIDE THE HOME for TWO MINUTES

when Greta asked LE if anyone else was in the home LE says the mother was but she did not see Sandra :-(

ETA: when Greta asked if the camera showed anyone else LE said no
 
She has to be in that park somewhere, unless someone snuck her out in a vehicle. Isn't there a camera at the entrance to the park also?

I'm concerned about the cadaver dog hits by the river.

Cadaver dogs picked up a scent Sunday morning along a river north of Tracy, Sheneman said. Divers searched the water while others searched along the water line. He said there was no sign anyone had been there and nothing was found.

The only new thing I pulled out of this interview with ng was that there are a little less than 100 units in this trailer park (but that sounds like a lot of searching to me)

Agents searched at least one home in the mobile home park where Sandra Cantu vanished on Friday afternoon, and have searched at least five other locations. The two men, who have not yet been publicly named, are described as residents of different homes in the mobile home park, but are not related to the family.

Wonder if one is the pool man?
 
Ugh. My heart breaks for all these children. Thank you to everyone who've kept the info coming in this thread.

So for future note....if some crazy man comes up and kisses my daughter on the lips and lives behind me...WE ARE MOVING.


Also - thanks for the link. Her hair is blonde in those photos and in the one they showed on local news she had black hair. I really wish they'd clear that up because she looks totally different!
 
oh no... after LEs interview with Greta last night I had a feeling they knew more...... after divulging the sws. From that video I did glean that we should get names of the pois today...after the judge signs the sws...

praying she is safe somewhere...
