cbs13 this morning reported that Wohler's house was searched again (last night) as well.

This article mentions that Bamboo blinds were pulled from a MH...any thoughts about why they would have taken someone's blinds?

On Monday morning, farmworkers found a black, sealed suitcase while they were draining a pond near Bacchetti Road, about two miles from Orchard Estates. The area is full of agricultural fields, plowed land waiting to be planted and some irrigation ditches. It's adjacent to a dairy farm.

So the suitcase WAS found sealed!!!!
 
Williams said that the mysterious black suitcase Cantu was found in was reported stolen by another congregation member the same day Cantu disappeared.

"That suitcase was to go to the church for a rummage sale with some stuff in it and the person put it somewhere, either in the back of a car somewhere. But anyway, when she came back out the suitcase was gone," Williams said.

Our WSer was right on the money with this theory! (Wish I could remember which one!!)

It would be of importance to know WHERE she put that suitcase. Was it in someone's car or not?!

Sealed can mean many different things. To one reporter, it could mean zipped up completely and to another it could mean duct taped around. It would be difficult to seal a suitcase, imo, unless it was a hardshell. In the photos, this did not appear to be the case and it looked to be soft without any noticable tape on the sides etc.

You could be right about not jostling and being respectful, but I imagine the bag was heavy as it was wet.

if you go back and watch the presser when they released the video, LE says the reason for the delay in getting the video out to the public was because fbi analysts were trying to determine if it was purse or backpack vs a shadow. They released the video to show what Sandra looked like on that day and wanted to be "right" about what she was last seen with/how she looked.

LE then said after pouring over hundreds of hours of video tape they had determined it was a shadow. Hope that helps.

Maybe the blinds are missing part of the cord that could be around her neck or could possibly match ligature mark around her neck...

Thanks! I had missed that point. (I will have to go back and look now! LOL I think it was a purse....)

LE needs to remember to send videos to Target and their specialists. ;) They are the masters in the field.

Hmmm... My thoughts go to the Tracy 60 and possible photographs. Matching the bamboo blinds to similar blinds in a photo would be strong evidence that the photo was taken in that particular home.

Authorities also searched underneath the church looking for clues that will lead to Cantu's killer.

It could be another possibility, but would be difficult to prove they were the same as one in a photo...imo. You can buy those at any Walmart.

seeing all the new posts..... I am thinking this ALL points towards the Tracy 60..... maybe LE is just trying to get all their ducks in a row because they are planning on doing a HUGE arrest.... who's to say Wohler, Lawless AND Sinclair are not ALL involved?

Just MY opinion and MY mind going WAY too fast thinking about all this.... ;)

SS I found this just now, it appears that there is a crawlspace under the church that they were searching.
