International Care-another CG venture-what's with all of these Redding based global businesses? Did CG travel extensively or is all of this based on military training? It feels like this is the internet version of a pyramid scheme gone wrong.

@wyome...good post. IMO if his tears were for real, they were out of guilt.

not guilt due to the rabbit "accusing anyone"...which I don't. yet. but...note the church in the area (under severe scrutiny, not by me nor social media, but via google) and the number of casino's in the area. could an acquaintance/family member have a gambling problem perhaps? "sending a message" (via branding) yet allowing the "victim" to "escape" or be "returned" unharmed (meaning, alive) all points to the mob. IMO...

I am confused by this post. You mention a church and a casino, but what does that have to do with the Papini's? Can you explain a bit more clearly?

I mentioned above that I don't believe the person was anonymous to the Papini family but only anonymous to the public. I quoted this from a pasted MSM article. Can anyone confirm this either way ?

My understanding is that Lisa Jeter, close friend of Sherri's for whom Sherri used to babysit, brought Cameron Gamble into the case.

In this interview with Jeter and Gamble on Dec 1st, they credit their Facebook efforts with attracting the anonymous donor. Watch short interview here: http://m.onenewspage.com.au/video/2...-Gamble-Speaks-About-Sherri-Papini-Return.htm

During the 20/20 episode last night, Keith Papini said that he has absolutely no idea as to the identity of the donor.

It is then explained by the narrator that the anonymous donor contacted Keith (a letter appears quickly on the screen) and directed Keith to get in touch with Cameron Gamble. That bit starts at the 17 minute mark in video below.

Thank you for allowing some more discussion of CG’s role as a consultant in this case.

First, if I may, I’d like to repeat a question I asked on an earlier thread, because I don’t think anyone posted an answer. How did CG know, in his November 22 video message to the kidnappers, that there were multiple—at least two—kidnappers? See thread 15 post 749 for some more detail on this. No one else knew until November 24.

Second, to understand CG’s present-day work, it’s interesting to note that it is based on the US military’s SERE training, as his Rotary Club bio makes clear:

Coincidentally, in a case chock full of coincidences, a SERE training regimen lasts … three weeks. Source follows.

I wish I wasn't so darn exhausted and my head spinning from trying to moderate this thread because you bring up some very, very interesting points. Oh my goodness.... I will be sure to re-visit this tomorrow after my brain is fresh. Thank you for the next assignment. lol

Ok now that feels damning-how much of a coincidence can it be that the guy hired to find SP recommends using an app to find your wife, and that is exactly how it went down? I can't.

I don't think she HAS kept anything secret. I think she has told LE everything and they have told the public only a small amount of info. Sheriff has been clear from the beginning he was keeping "sensitive info" back to protect the investigation. Perhaps that includes motive. I think LE have an idea of what the motive is but they don't want the perps to know they know that. I hope that LE is keeping that info close and pretending to be clueless while they track these perps down behind the scenes. IMO, LE wants to give the perps a false sense of security that SP could not ID them. :moo:

Do you believe, then, that LE does indeed know whether it was random vs targeted, they just don't want to say?

Good observation. I know lots of men w/o kids who own trucks and SUVs, but women... all Moms or childcare workers.

Interesting.

I actually know many (I could probably name 10) women who have SUV's and no children (some have teenagers or adult children who don't live with them). Maybe it's just common where I live but it's definitely not weird to drive an SUV if you don't have kids in my city.

I didn't want to get into a discussion about CG, but I do have 4 words:

GOOD GOLLY, MISS MOLLY.

Part of it might be that I live in a big city and parking is always a pain in the butt. :)

Why is that so amazing? I used the same app to find hubby's phone a few times already, with no help from gamble. Hubby always loses his phone.

My daughter taught me how because she used to use it to find out where her no good rotten ex used to disappear to?

Keith is an IT guy. I am sure he knew how to look for a lost phone without the help of CG.

I don't think thats his venture. Maybe an employee, but yeah, all these training, security businesses in little Redding. How odd.

I have an Explorer. My kids are grown. It's usually just me and my little doggie in the car. Sometimes hubby but he usually likes to drive his if we all go out

These 2 ladies might have had kids stashed somewhere. SP was in a basement. It could have been in an abandoned house. The kids may have been in a different location.

Speaking for myself, I'd think twice before I posted on the Interwebs that I "assist in kidnapping and ransom ... at a 100% success rate."

I'm just kidding around a little.

More seriously, can anyone name another kidnapping case, aside from this one, in which CG assisted?

To answer your question, No. Not yet anyway.

Also, who posts in their bio they "cooperate with law enforcement, when possible"? [emphasis mine} It's little wonder now why the Sheriff was so adamantly against his involvement.

My tired mind is racing here now.....

But CG would no doubt be happy to take credit for it! J/K ... sorta. ;)

Would LE investigate the identity of the anonymous donor? Seems prudent. It's absolutely related to the case, even if just to rule out. Would it be fair to say that LE already is aware of the donor or lack therof, and is playing their cards close to the vest on this as well? Where's the FBI? Would they have discussed the Sheriff's interview on 20/20 and reviewed what should/should not be said? What direction they wanted him to go? Or are they letting this unfold with no interference?

The last 30 sec of this Gamble video is interesting. His tip of the day is to use the Find My iPhone app if your wife goes missing.

Yeah, in the context of this case, I found that Gamble tip (posted 5 years ago) interesting as well.
