He probably did call and text her when he got home. LE hasn't released that info. I dunno. If we keep circling back to KP, I worry the thread will get shut down.

I will say somedays my husband is slammed at work and I hardly hear from him or I may hear from him a few hours later. KP wasn't allowed to take his phone with him to client sites. It makes sense why the texts would be disjointed IMO. There may be other days he didn't have many installations and was able to come home for lunch or text more.
Sorry, should have been more clear. Was not throwing suspicion Keith's way. On my original post on this topic I was wondering about their texting habits because even on very busy days I hear from my husband. At the very least he texts me when he's leaving work.

So I was wondering if Keith was already "on edge" when he arrived home. If I were ever to not get my husband's leaving work text I'd be very worried until I could get ahold of him.

Then I figured it must have been their normal to not text a lot, because he could have used find my phone app before that (I wouldn't have that option).

So, was just wondering if his very first moment of concern was coming home to an empty house or if there was anything alarming before that moment. I know he did say there were no abnormal phone calls, emails, etc.

Cant say probably when trying to reach a result with a certainty

I think that the FACT that your husband comes home for lunch, once a week is sweet, in fact that makes me jealous because mine can't. However, if you read all the threads, it is most likely that KP, rarely did come home for lunch . He works for Best Buy, as a home theater installer/specialist (the only Best Buy for a couple hundred mile radius), he drives a company car on the job & works in pairs of two. KP & SP live out of town in a semi-remote area, which makes it almost impossible to plan on being nearby, besides the fact that he could never know how long an appointment would take. I have never & still don't believe that Sherri sent a text, on the day she she went missing, asking if KP was making it home for lunch that day, & if it was really her, only to make surrender KP wasn't in the area. More than several posts have stated that would be the norm for a young married couple, for a nooner, yes I get that but..... with a coworker in tow, in a gps enabled company car, I find highly unlikely. Best Buy employees do not set their own appointments, they are dispatched daily based on route & need. I am not sure that Sherri could ever count on him home for lunch with this kind of job. So for me, this text she "supposedly" sent at 10:37 is more than odd.

I don't think we can know with any certainty what is normal. Maybe certain days of the week he actually stays at the store and doesn't go out on client appointments. Maybe he drops off his partner for lunch at his house, goes home to his, and then picks him back up. There are a lot of possibilities. Keith is cleared and didn't seem to think it was weird or out of the normal, so I'm not sure what else can be gained by speculating on the text.

The find my phone reaction first IMO is abnormal.
The lack of reporting to who was picking up the kids is shakey, he may not know planned but someone did, so pass
need to know: who picked up the kids, scheduled mom, scheduled family, unscheduled family

Goodnight all and Happy Thanksgiving
See you later
Hope Sherri is home.

FYI, My post a few back was supposed to be a reply to a post, also a few back. I have only posted a few times on this site & I am still trying to get a hang of it. In all fairness, my views/opinions/theories are all my own observations. I do not directly know SP or KP or their immediate family, which surprises me because I know many of their close friends & business associates, & every road that is a part of the investigation. I was raised in the area, went to high school there, still have immediate family there & only moved away recently. I do not have to "sleuth" to get info, because honestly it's all over any of my social media through friends I already know & discussed daily in phone calls back home. In addition, I went to Bethel Church for about 15 yrs, in my youth & then distanced myself from it. So my opinions are my own, most likely biased.

We've gone over this so, so, so many times already. There have been loads of people who have chimed in saying they regularly use Find My iPhone or another app when their partner doesn't answer. When we lived in a bad area my wife and I had it setup so we could easily check on each other and if she was coming home late I'd use it to make sure she was making her way home alright.

She did have ties to Eureka in Humboldt County.

However, even if Papini disappeared in Shasta County, Totten thought it important to point out that Humboldt County residents should be aware of the situation. “Sherri did have a job over the last few years that brought her into Humboldt County,” Totten said. “She worked for a company that had a branch in Eureka. She would travel from Redding to Eureka every so often to work here for a short time.” Even though Papini no longer works for the company, that is a connection to this area, Totten said. She asks locals to be alert for anything that might relate to this case.

Marijuana cultivators maybe? The illegal ones.

Here they are again, a bit cleaned up, some in different order. Missing any?

What do you think at this point in time, 17 days on?

Possibilities

.1. Abducted by person known to her; still alive
.2. Abducted by person known to her; now deceased
.3. Abducted by unknown party; still alive
.4. Abducted by unknown party; now deceased
.5. Murdered by known person before alleged jog
.6. Hit by car; driver fled scene with body
.7. Suicide; body undiscovered
.8. Amnesia
.9. Hoax
10. Not abducted; wilfully missing
11. Witness protection
12. Human traffickers
13. Space aliens
14. Crazy clowns

#4. Unknown to her but maybe the abductor knew who she was.

Thanks but that us not what is stated here.
His first reaction reported is to go to the find app, not call.

One question...how long can an iphone sit on the side of a road without being stolen? And headphones? It would be gone and wiped in two minutes in my neighborhood.

Such a rural area could be there forever probably

i have to throw something in here! If I wanted to leave my husband i would never ever ever leave them (my children) without me! They would come with me! other thing to consider is that
I would never cause my mother so much grief about my missing!
And we have nothing to suggest Sherri wasnt anything but a loving daughter and mother!
Yes but who is telling you that?
I don't think you can put yourself into the shoes of someone that would leave kids, family etc because that's not who YOU are.. doesn't mean that's not who Sherri is.

Hello fellow sleuthers!

I am new to the boards (was on them way back in the day when little Sandra Cantu went missing). I've been following the Sherri thread for a week or so just trying to make sense of it all and organize my thoughts. I have a couple of theories or ideas, none better than the others.

About the IPhone:
- Wondering about the area the phone was found in. Was it in low grass, shoulder of the road, a lot of brush? Was it easily visible if say you were driving through the area trying to locate it?
My thinking here is a few things. First if I was tracking someone's phone to try and locate them, I would be thinking I would be driving scanning the road for them first, not necessarily looking for the phone if that makes sense. Also I have read that her phone was off or had died. After reading some articles it looks like the IPhone location will show up as a much broader area when the phone is either: not connected to Wi-Fi, and or is off. Taking that into consideration, how hard was the phone to find? How much time did the search take or was it plainly obvious (meaning someone wanted it to be easily found)?

Regarding the alleged 11 and 2 o'clock sightings:
-Wondering how reliable these sightings are? I believe it was said that area cameras did not show any sign of her. I would think they would only be accessing cameras that they believe she should have been on if she was out jogging. It seems odd that if someone/s saw her out and about, why was she not picked up on the cameras? Is it possible that whoever claims to have seen her at 11 o'clock is the person that took her or did something to her.

I am also seriously mulling over the hoax angle, especially after this whole ransom nonsense.

Is it possible that maybe SP did leave voluntarily and set it up to look like an abduction only to change her mind? Maybe she was afraid of getting in trouble with LE so they arranged this negotiator to get her back "behind the scenes" without LE?

Each theory/idea seems as unlikely as the next at this point. I just hope that no matter how/why she left, that she comes back to her children safely.

Perhaps this has already been posted, but I found it interesting that according to Forbes, Redding was listed in 2012 as the 5th most dangerous city for women. Considering the relative small size of the city and in light of this current story, I found that to be a disturbing statistic.

" At No. 5 on the 2012 list of the most dangerous cities for women is Redding, California, where there were 797 incidences of violent crime and 65 rapes for every 100,000 citizens. For a metro area whose population is just over that number at 182,000, a total of 120 rapes occurred over 12 months. "

Regarding the alleged 11 and 2 o'clock sightings:
Also, if the 11 o'clock sighting could have been a mistake, it is possible that something happened to her the previous day/night. I know KP has been cleared by LE, and he has taken multiple polygraph exams. I would just love to know if it was KP or SP who dropped the children off at daycare that morning.

I am also seriously mulling over the hoax angle, especially after this whole ransom nonsense.
I wonder if the family was having financial troubles?

B-I-N-G-O

I highly agree with all of these...
