I know someone on the jury and it's been VERY hard on them. There's a reason that counseling was made available to them throughout the trial and not just afterwards.

Every time I see them I just want to give them a big hug because it's hard enough for me to read the details of the case, they've been exposed to images that they will never forget.

It's heartbreaking and life changing. DG has ruined so many lives. Jail is too good for him.

I am broken just thinking of these jurors.

150 lbs? Not a chance. I'm relatively thin at 5' 9.5" and 160lbs.

my point exactly he was def over that weight but trying to lift 150lbs(made up weight) of dead weight not really very feasible without dragging IMO

I remember being at my MIL's. Neighbor came flying over panicked. We have a fire and I have called 911. I went back to her house and for some crazy reason we felt we had to take the incredibly heavy lid off the outside entrance to the crawl space. I weigh 106 lbs. She might weigh 90 lbs. We lifted that heavy lid and it was huge. Fire Dept. arrived seconds after we did it and looked at us and said you 2 actually lifted that LOL

I think that based on the higher level of blood splatter on some of the walls, the assumption is they were standing or at least upright as they travelled through the house. A hit to the mouth or broken nose could cause a lot of blood splatter but not be fatal.

It speaks to the level of violence and rage on DG's part. KL seemed to get the brunt of the assault, because she was fiercely defending NO? To make AL comply?

I was thinking this as well, I think at some point AL was upright due to the height of the spatter and may have been knocked down several times by DG. I was also thinking of non-fatal injuries such as someone having a tooth/teeth knocked out or a broken nose; the amount of blood to come from an injury like this could be substantial in my opinion.

Somehow I missed this, and feel the desire is even greater for justice to be swift and appropriate. I am so sorry for your "acquaintance". I did not know about counseling being available to jurors throughout the trial, but I sure can see that it would be needed. That is a good thing your court system is doing for them. I wonder how they will be afterward. I am not sure, if I were one of the jurors, if I would ever want to talk about it, or if I would need to be able to say all that was built up in the time spent during the trial when they are not allowed to duscuss anything related.

I truly believe there would have been a use for the chloroform they found on the acreage, otherwise it's unlikely CPD would have mentioned it in their testimony. We'll probably find out more during closing arguments, but in my opinion it would make sense for DG to have used the chemical when placing them in the truck to avoid them waking up on the drive to Airdrie... I also think DG must have carried AL rather than AL walking out of the house, given the lack of DNA evidence in the drag marks...
