I am feeling confident the Jury will get this right. Soooo much evidence. Oh and we are not Florida. No disrespect to our Floridian posters.

Okay sleuthers, let's play . . . You know you are addicted to a case when . . .
-you dive to the floor when your sister-in-law is seen walking up to your house.
-you hide in the bathroom to get caught up.
-reading websleuths is the first thing you do when you get up and the last thing you do before going to bed.

You spend full days for weeks copying and pasting Twitter posts because you know that complete strangers may be relying on your speed.
You skip dog walking, vacuuming, running errands and grocery shopping in order to do so.

Yes that's exactly what worries me. On the exact same day as the Casey Anthony NG verdict we had the Guy Turcotte NG verdict here in Montreal. I was literally sick that night with anger and hopelessness at the double miscarriages of justice. I don't want to believe that it could happen again.

Why am I breathless for 9am? Nothing will happen immediately!

I stocked up (hoarded) Swiffer dusters, febreeze. Slow cooker meals. Would pull out a drawer and sit and sort. I had the cleanest drawers in town LOL. Wow that didn't sound right lol Oh and cancelled lunch with my gal pals or arranged them on non court days. Lordy!

The first advantage I have seen of Alberta's dismal economy! THanks JadeSleuth for the time and energy you have put into this case just so the rest of us can follow along more easily. Hopefully you have a job by the time the next case comes around.

Totally off topic but ... with an intense case in NC, all the locals got together after the trial to have coffee and discuss the case. Is there any interest in doing that with this case?

I'd love to but I'm in Ontario. Maybe you could Skype me in? :)

Can I ask where you're going to do this? Asking for a friend [emoji4]

Well, I'm in Ontario. Nathan Clarkson does classes in Paris, Ontario. That's where I'm headed.

I think that would be great! Unfortunatley I am too far away ...:hanging:

Spellbound:
-You have trouble getting out of your pajamas until there is a court break.
-Your pets are begging for their food.
-You carry your iPad around ALL day.
-You send hubby to bed early so you can be on the computer without interruptions.
-Your eyes are constantly blurred, and typos are frequent

Rememeber how dreary, cold and snowy it was on several of the days we were realizing just how violent and heinous this crime was. THings are turming around . . . we are having sunny, record breaking highs, and we WILL have 3, 1st degree guilty verdicts. :happydance:

That sometimes happens to me. A browser refresh should do the trick.

Also, now that I have the time, what do I need to do to respond below quotes with spaces? Someone had said it's a broswer setting, on another thread. I'm using Chrome. Because if I type below, the space bar doesn't work. Example below.

My "THanks" button disappeared. Ideas??

• you find out your friend has a small connection to the accused and you grill them like a hostile witness to the point that they're scared to talk to you anymore
• you find out that your mom's acquaintance (who she doesn't even really like,) has some really great inside info so you devise a list of questions for your mom to ask her then get mad at your mom when she asks them wrong
• you're past the point of even caring if you get caught on your tapatalk at work.

When I'm doing the Twitter I don't like to stop to refresh so I often can't see others' posts or pictures. And my Thanks button goes away too. However the single most limiting thing for me has been the 30 seconds you must wait between posts.

lordy, no clue for this one. Does it look normal but posts smooshed together? Maybe type your post, then copy/paste it below?

I'm up to my eyeballs at the office.

Would someone kindly alert me when the verdict comes in?
