In my opinion they must have brain matter or enough blood evidence at the house to speculate that at least one person died. They could then infer the rest were killed then or later. I think them scouring, or making reference to scouring so many leads and so much evidence "painstaking" was the word used in the presser means that the suspect tried very hard to clean up - maybe using chemicals or otherwise and they had a hard time getting a good idea of the amount of blood/whose blood etc... we know from the possible drag marks there was a clean up job of some kind and taking the bodies alone lends itself to thinking he was trying to cover tracks/hide evidence. I think the key from the beginning was a major bloody crime scene in the home. MOO
The worst kind of ending to this.
I think Calgary Police Chief Rick Hanson did a fabulous job of giving the press as much as he could. He certainly was a very articulate and measured given the pounding of questions by the media.
I have a question that maybe somebody here can answer:
What kind of evidence can there be to suggest the certain death of all 3 without any bodies being found?
