I wonder if LV offered PK a memento, or if PK asked for one, did LV give him anything at all.

Regarding LV receiving AG's Teachers' Pension. AG would have had to designate LV as a "pension recipient" or beneficiary for any residual pension upon AG's death. If AG had collected this pension for several years, there would not be too much left to her estate. I wonder if AG took care of this detail. I believe the person designated can opt for a lump sum payment.

Where did all the money go? Someone I knew passed away, was a widow, never worked, and had a lot more money in her estate than $50K, so where did all of AG's money go? Something's not right.

AG apparently did not spend a lot, had a school teacher's wage for several years, her teacher's pension, her CPP, her OAS, but only $50K, unless there were several investments.

Was AG a gambler? Did she feign illness because she planned on going to Casino Niagara over the xmas holidays. Did someone stalk her from the casino because they became aware she was alone. Did she tell someone she was divorced. Did she take a bank roll with her. Could this be another theory? (This is only speculation, as I just don't believe A was not worth more).

It's completely none of my business, so can't explain why my heart sank at that news. Went to look on the FB page, and sure enough. Last MAY.:what:

Someone on the page observed that that leaves no physical trace of Audrey - her ashes scattered, her home gone. Makes it even more important, somehow, to keep her memory alive and see her killer(s) brought to justice!

I too was shocked and sad when I read about her home being bulldozed last May
All this time I had been thinking a young couple was living there.

I'm sick at the notion of Audrey's "world" being bulldozed away. Why did we think that a young couple lived there? And more importantly - WHO WOULD HAVE THE RIGHT TO GIVE THE GO AHEAD TO BULLDOZE THE PLACE?

Would LV have that right?

Just noting on the FB page that February 6 was AG's birthday - she would have turned 76 on Wednesday

I drove by AG's home in late summer. It was still standing, but the siding on the home was taken off, not sure if this was real wood or aluminium, but at that time, it only looked as though it was going to have a facelift. I will drive by again and report back. There wasn't any equipment on the property at that time either. imo

The FB post about the house being bulldozed was dated May 2, 2012 - so if you saw the house in late summer, then I think the FB poster must have mistaken a partial demolition for total destruction perhaps.

Do we know who set up the FB page? I believe roseofsharon about driving past the house last summer. Actually, I recall roseofsharon posting about it at the time here at WS.

Could this FB page be a sick hoax? With untrue "info"?

Thank you Stone, yes I did post about seeing the home with the siding stripped. Previously, I had posted about how lovely AG's home looked when I drove by on a winter day with the snow lightly dusting the trees on her property.

I just asked my husband when we were there last year, as I thought it was in late summer. The reason I thought it was late summer is because I visited the farm market (Jos...... Farms) there to buy apples, but my husband also reminded me about the unusually warm weather last year and that maybe it was much sooner than I remember because the apples must have been ready a lot earlier, but I was also wanting to look around the area again to get a feeling for the killer's movements. My husband told me I shopped for other things in the store, homemade jams, etc.

I am thinking that I must have seen A's home at a time, just prior to them taking it down and the siding was off the home, as it was probably going to be salvaged.

I just did a Google map of the address and sadly, I don't see the home and there is a truck parked on the road, which is a bobcat service. Image taken July 2012.

Now I am beginning to wonder if I saw new home being built, but because I had no idea A's home had been bulldozed, but I assumed it was hers getting a reno. Sorry for any confusion I have brought to this topic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

roseofsharon you didn't bring confusion here. You brought joy for me with your 'postcard Christmas' post about Audrey's home/property in the winter. You provided a view of Audrey's happy life. Surrounded by nature.

I don't recognize the name of the owner of the page, but there is one entry whereby MK added PK to the group. I don't "do" FB much so I'm not totally familiar with how the administrative rights of a group work. I wouldn't think that a non-admin member of the group could add someone. So my uninformed conclusion would be that MK has administrative rights.

I could be all wet. Can anyone else shed any light on how that works?

For some reason i had Feb 3 in the timeline, but it seems Feb 6 is correct. I can't edit the timeline post, but will have the correct date in the next one.

- when was the page for Audrey set up?

- was it set up by MK as SB pointed out?

- other than a "memory page" does there seem to be another reason for having the FB page?
