Oh wow, thank you Tarik. This reportage is very, very interesting. Basically, a very specific tip came in a few days ago and turns out that remains were removed in evidence bags and the pathologist was there to verify that the remains where human. They were out of there by 4 pm. We will hear more soon I hope. Justice is coming for Cedrika. I can feel it. The officer mentioned that even though DNA is not likely to be available anymore to identify the suspect, perhaps someone talking about the case or making an admission to someone about what they may have known can come into play at this point.

I know the guy's name, the whole neighborhood and area there knows his name but they lack the physical evidence needed to tie him to the crime and he is very well protected.

Yes, that would be him. I'm not going to mention his full name or what company he works for because I don't want to put myself in trouble but yes it's THAT guy. They know it was him from the beginning but he lawyered up, cleaned his red Acura and refused to cooperate with law enforcement. Now they are trying to find the physical evidence that will link him to the crime because he clearly has no intention of admitting anything.

-Claude Poirier says there is a video of the suspect and his father. A person reviewed the footage to read their lips.

-More than the skull was found in December. Doesn't say what it is.

-The recent search was not held off for snow melt, snow was gone by April. The search came from the new and credible information.

Poirier seems like a very nice and friendly man who really cares about this case.

Not a big fan of Poirier but he is knowledgeable, I'll give him that. He knows most Quebec disappearances/murders very well and has tracked down suspects and murderers before.

Different person entirely, I have no idea who Réal Rousseau is but he was not involved with the murder.

Sunday marked the ninth anniversary of the Cedrika Provencher in Trois Rivieres.

Provencher was nine years old at the time of her disappearance. Her remains were found last December in a wooded area.

The remains of Cedrika Provencher were recently given to her family so that they can give her a proper funeral. The funeral details will not be given but is assumed to occur in the next few days. The bones were analyzed thoroughly by experts.
