[h=1]Toronto doctor's disappearance worries neighbours, friends[/h]
The Toronto Sun has learned the mother of three, a highly accomplished medical doctor, was not at her clinic as of Tuesday and has not made it home to tend to her kids for three days.
“We have been worried since she did not come home on Tuesday,” said a neighbour and family friend. “Her husband was home and her three kids but not her.”
The doctor at the Scarborough Hospital was reported missing to police. But things turned ominous Friday when a forensics van arrived.
“Yellow tape was put up and it was deemed a crime scene,” said a neighbour. “She is loved on the street and people are very upset.”
“Police will use all available modern, investigative techniques to find an answer to this disturbing riddle,” said Crime specialist Ross McLean, a former Toronto Police officer who surveyed the scene. “In addition to the usual forensics that will be conducted inside and outside the house with today’s technology police can triangulate movements of cellphones and help determine where people, and their vehicles, have travelled to.”
The missing doctor’s friends told me <ES, full name redacted> mother told people on the street that she had called police when she noticed that “three carpets” were missing from the home. The same friends were concerned abut the well-being of three children <children's names redacted> “We waited for them to come home from school in case they were faced with this,” said a neighbour. “They will be so upset.”
Meanwhile, sources say ES told several people on the street in conversations Monday that she “had filed divorce papers” and “was in good spirits” because she was “looking toward her new life.”
