I *personally* believe that the body was dumped and there was no attempt at covering it up. From the reports, I get the feeling that this was "a dump job" where the perpetrator wanted to get rid of the body as soon as possible. I have no doubts that it will be ruled a homicide.

I tend to agree with you. Do you remember the details about the other girl who was taken from the general area and dumped? I have been searching but can't find the link...

I think it is Jessica. The family has posted an "In Memory of" style poem. I could be totally mis-reading the gesture, but I just have a sick feeling.

I was thinking the same thing.... but then I noticed that it appears the FB post was made a couple hours before police were called about the body.

That is a small window of time. The accuracy of reporting and what details they received from Police could be off... by a couple of hours.

Sorry to quote myself but.. at the same time, I was thinking that the silence was rather deafening...

Interesting that the news article stated that CPS was assisting RCMP.. but yet no mention of the Project KARE group.

So just because I am curious about this, and the differences in MSM reporting. This link claims no age, gender or identity

This link however states it was a female body. From the man who found it?

Yes, it's definitely hard to decipher MSM sometimes.

Also here, the first article says human remains and body, so maybe partial decomposition and maybe it could be SB as well. The second article only uses the description human remains.

Almost as if they have a template they follow. I am presuming enough of a body to be recognizable as female. Which is why I asked about the hair. To me, either the body was not decomposed to the point of being simply remains, or the hair/clothes provided a blue as to gender, as reported in the 660news article. I am guessing they got the gender from the man/crew who found the body.

Thanks again OOTD. I was trying to edit my post and accidentally deleted it. Glad you corrected me. :)

I can honestly say I haven't heard that here before.

A first time for everything I suppose! I am new at this whole sleuthing thing, and appreciate the feedback, especially when my mind wanders. I know there are many here with much more experience than me, and I value the wisdom. Just wondering if you have a link? The last I saw/read was on April 15 and she was still missing. Thanks!
