I hope they do have burners, as that still allows for potential tracking (if their phone numbers are established from contact with anyone they know).

They could be winging it, going from some local knowledge, using GPS, or using a map.

Just focusing on one option you mentioned (bolded)....It would be a long stretch to think that guys who spent their entire short life on Vancouver Island, would know about northern Saskatchewan and northern Manitoba. Of course they could have 'checked it out' ahead of time, but I just don't believe they even knew Gillam existed, 3,ooo km away, with a dead end road.

Good point. However, now that I think about it, there is really no difference in what the eyewitness said than what is shown in the photo.

I would need to find the video, I added the possible wound to lungs because of the foamy blood on her mouth as described by the guy who waited for four hrs. with their bodies.

Regarding the point I bolded, I believe the gas bar clerk recognized them when BC RCMP announced that they were missing. (I might be getting this mixed up with the Split Lake gas bar attendant who found out after they were announced as suspects.)

They were at the store in Dease Lake before they went missing. Is that the gas bar you mean? It's been reported as the last time they were seen before the truck was found burned. And the Split Lake store clerk recognized them later.

I think that's the order of things. Unless there's another bar in BC I'm not remembering.

No one has been bashing the families of the suspects, people are pointing out that the media here is giving the two suspects in this case a sympathetic edit.

Suspects are simply suspects, they are not guilty of anything. At this time, the only thing that should be reported is information that advances the investigation or warns the public about potential danger.

Does anyone know if Chynna and Lucas's bodies have been released to their families yet? The only thing that I can imagine, as a parent, worse than losing your child, is losing your child tragically, and so terribly far from home.

Because his father felt it was false. That was already attached to a previous statement which I was addressing.

His poor father must be grieving and this whole thing is horrific for him- but parents often don't really have a handle on what their kids are into, especially when those kids are teens or older.
