I dont know how to link to that particular tweet, but if you scroll 3/4 of way down tweets page it should be there, It looks like unconfirmed and probably not relevant footage and that was why it was taken down elsewhere?

Yes that’s it. I saw a bit longer of a version where a black body bag was Gurney’d across (that’s what it appears to me). If Australia media has this wrong then I give up on the internet as a source. They seem to feed us anything!

I'm sorry if this article has already been posted, but Sherman Kong (owns a wilderness survival company in Manitoba) gives an interview about the suspects, and how they may be dealing with being on the run in the wilderness.

‘Military-style survival’: How B.C. murder suspects may be faring in the harsh Manitoba wilderness

Thanks, there’s a lot of really good stuff there.

Some important points:

This is psychologically and physically draining.

They’ll probably stick together until the end.

Them being away from civilization is not sustainable.

Those conditions are absolutely brutal, and could lead to injury.

might be pedantic quibbling but Im not sure I agree with the characterization, and thats not actually what the article said

A manitoba FN assembly asked bear clan to "provide support and services for residents in three smaller communities"
""We are very concerned for the safety of the people in our northern communities,""
"While RCMP officers conduct door-to-door checks on residents in gilliam, patrol group members will be splitting into pairs to check in on people living in Fox Lake Cree Nation, York Factory First Nation and War Lake First Nation.

I mean if we can stop beating around the bush for a second it was basically "Hey can you guys come up here and do cop stuff for a bit, cuz if its got "first nation" in the name then actual cops cant be bothered"

Cant say they were wrong as it was bear clan who spotted the suspects, in a FN town rcmp didnt bother with

Edit: if I seem a little defensive or snippy its cuz its 3am and racist conspiracy theories have a way of making you extra tired (dont mean you afitzy)

Im not just replying to you, but the last few pages of uncertainty

-The bear clan is not a tribe, they are a volunteer group
-They only went to 3 indigenous communities, which the RCMP do not cover, to make the residents feel safer. I also assume those communities do not generally feel heard by gov/rcmp/etc which is why the BC keeps being referred to as "ambassadors" or the like
-York landing was one of the original places they intended to go
Feel free to read about them on their website Bear Clan Patrol Inc.

Now I'm just replying to you
The suggestion that the bear clan faked this for publicity is totally baseless and kindof gross IMO
You could have at least done a google search before bashing FN orgs doing great work.

Really though dude, do some basic research and take your racist conspiracy theories somewhere else
Here is the original article that describes that Bear Clan as "Ambassadors":

I watched the original video as soon as it was posted. Definitely didn't see any sort of body bag. Saw some cops, some cars and a police dog.

Are people just tired or what? This is the third or fourth time people have sent me a link which was included in my original message they are replying to

Geez hope these two are caught tonight so people can get some rest lol

I wasn't disagreeing with them being described as ambassadors; that would be weird since I included that very link in my post.
I was disagreeing with your characterization of them being brought in "to assist RCMP" because you just made that up ;)

"AMC said it approached Bear Clan – an Indigenous-led, community-based, crime-prevention group – to send teams into communities where tensions were high"

Here's a good video I found with an interview (from before the York Landing event) about this, and how tense the communities have been feeling: NEWS 1130 on Twitter

Absolutely - on all of your points! I think their relationship is more like a marriage/sibling/codependent dynamic (that sounds weird) I mean that they have bonded over a shared 'us vs them' world view, and complementary psycopathies. MOO of course.

Given that Kam and Bryer were heading out "to make some real money" and the fact that Lucas Fowler was the son of a NSW Police Chief Inspector (Stephen Folwer), could it at all be possible that they were paid to kill Lucas as some sort of vendetta against Stephen Fowler? MOO

this video makes it apparent why we wait for verified info. remove the narrative and all i saw was people walking around

I like your out of the box thinking
That said seems unlikely for alot of reasons, mainly because what would be the point of connection between disgruntled Australian criminals and teenage canadian internet trolls
I guess theres extreme right wing politics but I have a feeling the teens were just dabbling in anything that seemed "edgy" moreso than any actual political leanings.

Seen a few other folks and twitter and stuff floating the idea I was mulling over earlier, gonna repost these maps I made of the hydro lines, see if y'all think it might be a likely route from fox lake 2- york landing. Would definitely be slower than rails or roads, but much easier than bushwhacking

Lol I can only speak for myself but I am incredibly tired and I blame it on watching WS too much. So, I too would like them caught for quite a few reason...one being so I get get some badly needed rest :)

RCMP came out and said that there had not been an arrest.

Lots of outlets were citing this video, and saying that they had been apprehended.

If that had been the case, we would have found that out hours ago. The community is terrified, and people want this over with.

I believe it was taken down because it was either an outright hoax, or it didn’t show what it purported to show.
RCMP also didn't say they had shot and killed someone either. They just said no arrests. If someone had been shot the notification process would take awhile IMO. And, if one person escaped then there is still a manhunt to conduct.

not important but just noticed the political/legal boundaries for york landing correspond with some sort of physical boundary. Maybe a fence or even just a small cleared area, but its there

I never looked at it that way...but, yes that is a possibility. However, I think if one was shot and killed, the probability of the other one turning himself would be very high. Jmo. Thoughts?

But RCMP and Leroy Constant (Chief there) have both said efforts were still underway to locate 2 suspects.

BOTH have emphasized still looking for 2.

If one were dead/in custody they would certainly not still be emphasizing that as it greatly changes what people in the community are looking for if they see something suspicious.

All efforts are being made in York Landing to apprehend two individuals matching the description of the suspects.

RCMP Manitoba on Twitter

Official Statement - Chief Leroy Constant - Search for Suspects in BC homicides

Police have deployed multiple resources in the area of York Landing, MB and in attempts to apprehend the suspects.

The (2) suspects are still at large and have NOT been caught.

Please don't put your journalistic faith in Channel 7 news, news.com.au or most of the other Aussie sources getting quoted here. They're salacious at best. Any accuracy has been purely by accident.

It's just not the bushwhacking that they'd have to do.... it's swampy. It's deadly. They can barely do it at night time I just can't see how they could do it at night time. So they have to move during the day through all that swamp and thickets and brush and animals and bugs and so I'm going to probably say no. Probably took the road back caught a ride on the ferry. Could have walked the road in the nighttime I doubt there's a whole lot of traffic driving that road in the middle of the night.
But definitely don't see them bushwhacking through all that swamp and Scag and bugs and critters and thickets. Not to mention the Predators that hunt at night.

This would have been between 20 and 30 hours of walking at a "brisk pace"
Though the terrain adds some time I'm sure.
Cant decide if they're likely to be more tired or scared so not sure how mental or physical state would influence speed. I'm assuming they would have taken breaks to sleep/rest/eat when and if possible.

But thats still like 6 days in which to do 2 days of walking.
So even if the terrain was making it take 3 times as long, no lets say 4 times as long, thats still (depends on what time rav was found so im fast and loose with the math here) like 150 hours to do 80 hours of walking. Thats 11 hours a day to sleep rest, and thats assuming the terrain would make it take 4x as long as even a slower than average pace. Sure it woulda sucked for them but ima say its at least plausible

Dont even think it really matters im just not ready to stop trying to figure *advertiser censored* out lol
