Hope this is not related, although the van looks new and is light coloured.
I think it's a sort of date/meet site. Do you have child safety blockers on your computer?
That comment seems out of left field to me...from the prairies and have many friends and family in small towns that have no drug connections....while it is a possibility the small town aspect doesn't factor in, IMO
I'm wondering if one of the neighbours witnessed the van speeding away? I can't think how else they would have a description. I sure hope someone paid attention when they heard the little girl screaming. I live in BC. I can't imagine it would have been easy for the abductor to get over the border- you need a letter saying you have permission to take the child over the border if you're not the custodial parent. I'm pretty sure the person would have to show ID- anyone crossed the border with a small child recently? I'm just wondering how tight the protocol is. You'd have to have nerves of steel to attempt it without the proper ID and documents, I would think. I'm betting he (assuming it is a he) headed this way toward BC, those towns are almost right on the border between the two provinces.
I think you need a passport now anyway even to cross the border while driving.

Here is some information about the Argyll Centre where Mom apparently attends.
Yes, you do crossing from Canada into the US, I think it has been that way for a couple of years at least now. That's why I think he didn't head that direction, regardless of whether he was ahead of the AA or not. I remember crossing in the '80s and they almost waved you through. I haven't crossed in a car lately, just through airports, but I figured things had probably tightened up a fair bit.
I just feel sick for this poor baby.
I have been through border crossings in that area many times. Once they let my friend in with her high school ID card. Once my sister took us across the border and we had a notarized letter that she was allowed to travel with me (I was underage she was not) and they never even asked for it. I have been let through without even being asked for ID before. Hopefully they would be more diligent with a lone adult and small child but you never know unfortunately. I think you need a passport now anyway even to cross the border while driving.
