"OPP searches in Brantford connected to Tim Bosma disappearance"

"Friday afternoon, several OPP cruisers were seen first outside a business park located at the corner of Paris Road and Oak Park Road, between Brantford and Paris.

Police in Hamilton confirmed that Bosma’s cellphone was found at that location.

Police were also spotted in a park and wooded area slightly to the south, near Powerline Road and the Grand River.

An OPP command post was set up at the business park"

Just getting caught up here; seems like you guys may already have some leads :)

When I read the orange / red clothing description, I decided to look up the distance between where Jessica Heeringa was abducted from exactly 2 weeks ago today (Norton Shores, MI) and Ancaster (there was also a robbery 2 weeks ago on the same day that Jessica was abducted at a credit union where similar clothing was described). It's virtually a straight line: http://goo.gl/maps/Hlihl I know these cases probably have nothing to do with each other, but I just thought it was also a strange coincidence that Sarnia, Ontario, where Noelle Paquette lived (suspects in custody) is also smackdab on the map line. I see Wondergirl in here, and both of us have followed all 3 cases. Weird coincidence that they're all on a straight line on a map.

Hope Timothy comes home safe to his beautiful family! I'm afraid Hamsterdance's post above is very troubling (cellphone found). :(

Prayers!

Margarita, it's so good to see that you care so much. Those of us in southwestern Ontario feel connected to cases in Michigan and, of course, cases in Southern Ontario, which would naturally be in a straight line with southern Michigan. All of these cases resonate with us.

I agree with you that there is likely no connection between Noelle's case and the others. I think all of these cases are only connected by geography. How wonderful of you to care.

While Michigan (and upper NY state and Ohio and Pennsylvania for that matter -- hello Erie PA, hello Cleveland, hello Buffalo!) are close to southern Ontario, the fact remains that criminals are likely to be worried about crossing the border and being 'documented'.

Afew things,

First. Either the tattoo is recent or this man has no prior record. When youre arrested they take your picture, your fingerprints, and the side of your hand and forearm.(what you'd use to open a door). They also note all scars and tattoos. I believe they also take pictures but at the very least its noted.

Tomorrow people within kitchener are meeting at fairview park mall to put missing posters on everyone's car. This came across my FB feed.

Just a slim possibility, but what if perp actually used a temporary tattoo? Maybe it is no longer there or under an actual watch.

The perp is looking for a high-powered, laser tat-remover re: distinctive "boxed" tattoo AND probably sporting a nice wide wrist-watch right about now.

and at least they're not calling it "buttons" re: Nighisti Semret's unresolved murder-so-foul.

"He wore a heavy, three-quarter-length dark jacket with circular buttons doh! :waiting::waiting: on the cuffs, a light-coloured scarf and dark hat." May 11, 2013
see page 3 of the Semret WS thread .. buttons it ain't!

Or,the perpetrators could be listed under a jurisdiction that has not been alerted yet. For example, an American arrest record, or even a distant part of Canada.

I am assuming any pertinent evidence has been sent to the RCMP and FBI, but no hits have come up yet.

HAL, I think that this "AMBITION" business is the "buttons" of this case.

It sounds like a cheap cologne. "AMBITION"...for men who don't have any.

I think he might want to consider having it altered (to) read "INCARCERATION" Similarly; in a box.

:jail:

If this was a missing woman under the same circumstances, we'd be looking at the spouse as the prime suspect. Have we considered the wife yet?

Not a chance. First, these men tried (unsuccessfully) to steal another random man's truck. Second, her emotions are way too raw. Have you seen her speak? Same feeling I got when I knew- without a doubt- that Clint Heichel was not involved with his beloved wife's disappearance.

Recent report from CTV news May 10, 2013. I googled about Mike's comment pertaining to my above post and cannot find any information so I'm assuming Mike is an idiot.

Does anyone know where Tim runs his business from? Brantford, Ancastor, Hamilton?

I've consider the thought that just maybe they were in an accident and the truck left the road and they are possibly in ravine, but the information about the incident in TO with the other guy sounds too coincidental. Also it is very strange Tim's cell phone was found where it was. That area along the Grand River has been searched by LE as you can see in the second link. What scares me is that the Grand River runs very close to the proximity where his phone was found. I hate to even go there, but could they have done something horrific to Tim and got rid of him somewhere along the route in the Grand River? :'( The Grand River can be quite fast flowing and turbulent depending on the season. I'm not sure about springtime but this really worries me.

Whoever has taken Tim from his loving family and friends, please let him come home safe. Take the truck if that's what you want. No matter what though you two guys WLL BE FOUND and if there is foul play, and you will be dealt with severely in a court of law.

The witness was able to give police a more detailed description of one of the suspects. He said the man had several tattoos, one of which said “Ambition” on his wrist where one would normally wear a watch. The tattoo is said to have some kind of box frame around it.

“The tattoo itself is not uncommon but the placement of the tattoo on his wrist is quite unique,” said Kavanagh.

The homicide unit detective said Bosma’s cellphone was located in an industrial area in west Brantford. The cellphone had been turned off shortly after he disappeared at around 10 p.m. Monday, and hasn’t been turned back on since.

Meanwhile, police have also been able to trace the phone number the suspects used back to a cellphone that stopped working soon after Bosma disappeared.
The cellphone was purchased about three months ago and was bought under a fake name, Kavanagh said.

Detectives said that cellphone was used in Etobicoke the day before Bosma disappeared and that they are making efforts to contact everyone who received a phone call from that number.

Just bringing this link forward. Also, video of Tim's wife holding press conference. It seems pretty apparent LE are considering this an abduction.

The apparent abduction of a loving husband and father took another sinister turn as investigators found evidence his suspected kidnappers drove through Brantford Monday night.

And Tim Bosma, 32, may not have been the first person the two men targeted while pretending to be interested in buying a pickup truck advertised online.

It’s believed the pair may have been dropped off by a third person.

“He smiled at me and said he’ll be right back,” Bosma’s distraught wife, Sharlene, said of her husband at a heartbreaking press conference held Thursday. “I haven’t seen him since.”

The whole thing is disturbing from the get go. Someone knows these people. A tattoo on the wrist with the word and the box is pretty distinctive. Girlfriend,ex girlfriend, friends, his mom... someone needs to get up on their phones and do the right thing and let LE know who this person possibly is.

I hope Tim is found safe even though the prospects are getting slimmer..... I Hope he's wandering around some wooded area lost and will be found safe soon.. I always want to have hope.

Praying for Tim's safe return to his family.
