Sonia Varaschian

Posting some known facts to see if anyone can find links with DM:

  • Date(s): August 29-30, 2010
  • Suspect Shoes Size: Possibly size 10-11 boot. Possibly Dakota brand!
  • Sonia frequented various dating sites before her death.
  • Location: Orangeville. Body dumped not far from home.

Some questions i have:
1) I remember someone posting a link to a boot picture of DM?
2) Has DM been linked to ANY dating sites?
3) Any chance DM met the other missing girl, Laura Babcock on a dating site?
4) Anything that may link DM to the Orangeville area?
5) Any idea what DM was doing in late August 2010?

Alright...just had to summarize this before going to bed. I know its a shot in the dark but at this point DM is shady enough that it warrants a look!

Night folks.

Jumping in here.

Thanks for the SV info.

The boot pic was posted on DM's friends account, not DM.

Also, good question about Labour Day long weekend in 2010. Laura disappeared after July 1st long weekend.

There are lots of WSers here on TB's thread that are very familiar with both SV and AG's case, of quick clarification is needed on something, please ask. Hth

In Dellen's eulogy to his father he makes reference to Charles Lindburgh. While it's not unusual for aviation pioneers to admire Lindburgh it's the other aspects of Lindburgh's life such as the kidnapping, ransom, and murder of his infant son that are more interesting in relation to the Millard family. It's kind of odd to mention Lindburgh in a eulogy with all of weird and gloomy things associated with that family. Most pilot eulogies will mention a more conventional hero like Chuck Yeager or some pilot-turned-astronaut instead.

Besides, Wayne Millard doesn't strike me as the pioneer bush pilot type mindset -- but grandpa Carl certainly does!

The picture of DM with the drink, has a look of a sick man, perhaps he got HIV from drug use or some other person because he just does not look well there.

Funny you mention this! I know someone who once told me "if I ever got HIV, Id be taking alot of people down with me" I thought that was ridiculous and couldn't believe he said that.
This guy also had a sick way of thinking and was involved in a murder case (suspect) many years ago.

Most of Bosma's family was there: His wife, Sharlene, sat in one chair, his father and mother, Hank and Mary, sat on a couch. Sharlene's parents, long divorced, sat with their significant others and two of Bosma's sisters. Eight days earlier, Bosma had climbed into his 2007 black Dodge Ram pickup truck for a test drive with two men. He never came home.

"We have evidence that confirmed Tim is dead," Kavanagh said.

The room imploded, collapsing under the weight of the news. Screams, wails and tears filled the space between them. The slim hope that their son, husband, father and brother would come home had been shattered.

"I do have to tell you more: His body was burnt beyond recognition."

Excellent article with the focus on the victim, Tim Bosma. RIP

That's about the piss-poorest excuse I've ever heard for not doing your job.

I mean, if police work in a city of 3+ million people is too hard maybe you should try policing in a small town, or perhaps taking up basket weaving! :banghead:

Thanks for saying what I was thinking. lmao

french friend is talking, and a classmate ... DM had a taste for dog biscuits? -- this just gets weirder ... and if my friends start buying me sea doos & flying me around the world I'd want to know where the heck the $ is coming from -- but maybe that is 'normal' with the elite?

Where do you even start with the info in that article?

Good grief.

You have poor Tim and Sharlene's beautiful wedding picture, plopped down in the middle of a bunch of ridiculous things about DM.

Their picture is like a light of goodness. What an absolute nightmare for their family, friends and community.

Rest in peace, Tim. :(

One friend of Mr. Millard’s girlfriend shared the impression of him as a modest man who acted neither spoiled nor particularly well-off. “He’s a soft-spoken sort of a guy,” said the friend, who cannot be named due to a publication ban. “I didn’t even know he had money. He never acted like it.”

Though the two never became close, the friend said Mr. Millard seemed to treat his girlfriend well, taking her on skydiving trips and tropical vacations

Yes!!! I find it incredibly odd that these neighbours took all these photos on his property.i mean, who goes into their neighbours yard and just starts snapping pictures.

bbm

That is how I have felt. Right from the start instead of a trail of bread crumbs, it has been slices of bread. We have the rural neighbor taking pics ( which we are grateful for now), and we have his Mother's neighbor calling because a trailer is parked too close to a garage. What are the odds that in both of these instances it is related to a crime?

I can't put my finger on it but something about all of this just does not seem right.

On May 7, the day after Bosma went missing, Millard bought a condo at 70 Distillery Lane in Toronto for $627,524. Ten days later, after his arrest, he transferred the condo for $1 to his mother

Mothers day gift or is he showing a sign of his guilt and won't be needing this!!

Did anyone follow the Russell Williams case!!!! In case of future lawsuits?!?

With the neighbours thing it's more of an oblique curiosity IMO. Who hasn't been interested in their weird neighbors? These days though it seems that it doesn't take much for people to be suspicious because you cut your grass the wrong way or are leaving for work in the middle of the night -- people automatically think you're running a grow op!

Has anyone else street viewed the two locations I mentioned before?
Oakpark rd and Paris rd, Brantford. & across from Hilton in Brantford.
There is a connection there to an alleged suspect.

Well, he won't be needing it for the next 25 years.
His Ambition to be a Chef, might come true after all, cuz, prisons are always looking for good Chefs.
He needed Spices too, and one of his idolizing buddy's had a close contact to obtain Spices.

Also ironic, because although a famous aviator, Charles Lindbergh was a racist himself.

"only people he feared were racists"

You picked that up quik-ly

You picked that up quik-ly
So if time is of the essence, why would you goto both places quikly?
And above all why would you transfer a dead body from one veh to another on a DEAD end road? Only someone that feels comfortable there and especially if you were familiar with the area,
Jmo...

Interesting comments from the (former) lead detective in Laura's missing person case. CYA comes to mind....

“In this case we had no idea where Laura was living at the time, who her circle of friends were, what she was doing,” said Sgt. Woodhouse, who has since taken another position within Toronto Police and is no longer assigned to the case.

“In a city of 3 million people, where do you start?” he said. “We did the standard press release and put her picture out there… We followed the leads that we had.”

Regardless of the new twist, Sgt. Woodhouse said, “it’s still on our files as a missing persons case at this point.”

http://news.nationalpost.com/2013/0...pect-dellen-millard-before-her-disappearance/

From the article:

“We’re encouraged now that the police are taking this seriously and devoting some resources to this,” he said. “She was a good friend even though we had broken up and I just want to see her return home safely.”

You have to wonder what else the police are going to find on that Farm.:moo:

If the report of DM transferring ownership of assets to his mother is true it may be an attempt to keep them out of the reach of a future wrongful death civil lawsuit.
