The car would not start. Simon looks in and says its on empty. Ga says thats okay, I brought gas. Simon witnesses Ga putting the gas in. Ga gets back in. Car starts.

All cars register empty when they are off, don't they? And what would the defense's strategy regarding the car running out of gas. If GA put gas in before trying to start it how would he know there was no gas. Sorry not getting the connection with defense's strategy. Am I losing it????

This "work bag" was discussed on another thread, and I had looked up the information also. It contained an envelope with Amy H's resumes in it and a lanyard that supposively belonged to "Chris".

It seemed nobody was trying to stop the perpetuation of the "purse" rumor in this thread, that is the only reason I mentioned it.

JB and crew better worry more about the acquaintance witnesses than Oak Ridge. He has got a lot of explaining to do with their testimonies and the text messages and phone calls. There will be a long list of these people being on the stand for hours giving first hand explanations of ICA's behaviors before and after June 15, 2008.

Oak Ridge will be a small battle; ICA former acquaintances will be the war that he will lose.

From all the witnesses on the state list, Dr. G is the one who will sent chills up ICA's entire being as well as the A clan and the defense crew.

stupid question... What's the deal with calling KC ICA? must have missed something.

I wonder if it was a sears visa card. Does anyone know? My sears card was just a sears card, nothing else. My Jc Penny card is the same way.

Didn't TL say KC was buying food with a credit card?? I believe CA said KC had been using her card. jmo

I respectfully disagree highly doubt the Sa would try to go down that line. She didn't obviously park it anywhere. It was out of gas, she had no choice. No one has said in any document that the car smelled at Amscot. I thought her mothers credit card was a sears card. Don't know of too many gas stations that take sears cards.

The defense is only going to agree that the car ran out of gas at amscot. I am not sure why the Amscot employee is saying it was there early that morning though. Moo

If she was next to a gas station, why no just cash one of Amy's checks at the check cashing place? Not sure if they will cash one of these types of checks, but I do kind of feel like she used some sort of strategy when she left the car near the dumpster. KC does everything for reason. Kind of like Lee said. "She often starts a small irrelevant lie that leads to a much bigger lie down the road"

She did not have Amy's check book until Amy left for Puerto Rico which was in July after she abandoned her car.

Well the defense said on 48 hours that Kc did have someone looking into the matter. When asked, they said you will find out at trial. Now who could that someone be? Dc?

Jb said Kc has a compelling reason for her actions and we will find that out at trial.

Jb walks right into the evidence garage with nationally renowned scientist HL. Jb must have been very confident. He knows Caylee was never in that trunk. Hl comes out and goes on NG and says it smelled like rotten garbage, there was food, chicken, ham.

Jb says to Kb, your in lala land, she was not in those woods.

LKB says those were not coffin flies.

There are a lot of clues from the defense and there are more. I do not believe that the defense is going to be explaining themselves as many believe. They have a lot of info on what really happened and they are going to take control of the trial. We only know one side of the story. IMO

I think the strategy will be to let the Sa speak and try to come up with a story that makes sense. Then the defense will come in and just anialate them with facts that dont support their story. I have read all of these friends of Kc's interviews and I see nothing that they have said that is going to hurt Kc at trial. (premeditated murder trial)

I mean really, what have any of them said that supports premeditated murder?

She didn't have Amy's checks yet. She didn't get Amy's checks until she borrowed Amy's car. I think she just simply ran out of gas. IMO

bbm
Well, if they have a lot of info I really wonder where they got it from......Lord knows they have not done hardly any depositions and none of their "experts" have completed their assignments.
Maybe JB is borrowing the psychic from Dominic?
IMO, the day the defense takes charge of anything (let alone the trial) we'll hear about a blizzard where Lucifer hangs out.

defense says, defense says, defense says but released evidence says there is massive evidence against Miss KC

And for YM and SA and all the good guys' hard work - The SA isn't going to try to come up with something at trial, they already have everything hence the DP Case against Miss KC.

(rbbm)
Which was a planned event. The gas gauge was working - nothing wrong with the gas gauge.

That's actually a good comment Lambchop - I just went back and looked at Simon Birch's statement. He did say George brought gas, which surprised him, in an old battered gas can. Simon said George tried to start the car the first time, and then Simon said, oh look, the gauge is on empty, but the ignition was switched off when he looked at it. George put gas in it and it started right away.

However, many older cars that have been sitting inactive do not start up immediately because the battery may be a little low, or there isn't any gas in the gas line. A couple of tries, and they start. George however just assumed ICA had run out of gas.

Simon did say George said he called Ascot and asked them how long the car had been there before it was towed, which Simon thought was odd. He hadn't told George where the car was picked up from and didn't think it was on the registered letter they sent out to the Anthonys.

I think if HL states there was food, chicken, ham in the trunk he will have a lot of explaining to do because LE is claiming there was no actual food only the wrappers. Sort of like the 17 hairs that HL found. LE has a very different story. Should be interesting. jmo

If Henry Lee makes those claims on the stand, he will be a laughing stock, further discrediting what's left of his career if any. Kinda like the "expert" in Laci Peterson's trial that tried to estimate the date of her pregnancy based solely on what date she told friends she was having a baby shower!:loser::croc:

Well the defense said

RSBM

IMO, relying on any statements the defense says to the media is a mistake. They have repeatedly told outright lies to the media, and continually make statements that they can't back up.

They have even go so far as to do the same thing in court. Reference the Macaluso statement. Told by the judge to provide proof by Feb 1, 2010, they never did so.

They will say ANYTHING to the media in order to try to paint their client in a more positive, not-guilty light.

That actually sounds like a good thread to document them! "Lies the defense team has told to the public" - no Casey lies, just the defense team's.

Good points, Okie!

I wonder......can anyone (Bueller? Bueller?) direct me to the first hundred pages released by the defense as per the laws of reciprocal discovery (that the defense agreed to)?? No? Ok, how about the first 25?? No, really??!! Well then what about just five pages.....just five little pages of reciprocal discovery.....anything produced by the defense in the past 2 years..........
Nothing??? Are you kidding me??!! Boy, they must be really on the ball over there (sarcasm fully intended).

Again, my hat's off to the hard-working LE, SAO, FBI, crime scene techs, scientists and investigators who have worked steadily on securing justice for Caylee!

*bold by me*

What "facts"? As part of procedure I believe the defense has 15 days to submit any exculpatory evidence as part of reciprocal discovery. So far the defense hasn't submitted any evidence in this case....oh yeah they submitted a witness list....then a revised witness list.

There is a deadline on evidence submission. The defense can't use a "Perry Mason" moment.

Well, we do have some HEAVILY edited video of old girlfriends of marginal witnesses that the defense gave to the media! Does that count?
