Casey Anthony's Time-line Is Shrinking - UPDATE 8/10/08

What a great thread to discover when you're way, way behind. Great input from everyone. Made me thunk more thunks. (and get a bit madder - if that is possible at this point?)

A few thoughts:

* need far more data on the evening of the 15th
* phone calls - even if Cindy's phone (specifically) was on vibrate while at work on the 16th, she could still receive texts. She's stated that she did receive texts from Casey between June 16 - July 15, so one could wonder if aside from the 'flurry of calls that went unanswered' on the 16th, if there were also text msgs sent/rec'ed during that time. So aside from the calls, were texts sent, received and answered or ignored during that same span of time on the 16th?
* More TBD when I can cacth up.

TGIS!!!!!!!!!!

For sure, lots more information is needed from June 15th after Cindy left the nursing home.

It's amazing when people normally answer text msgs, or phone calls and then all of a sudden everyone doesn't answer their phones. What better way not to be traced; just turn your phone off!

what if as part of kc's plans on the 18th when she backed her car into the garage and borrowed the shovel she was going to bury caylee in the backyard to frame her parents for her murder so they would be locked up and she would then get the house.

No, I don't think Casey had intentions of framing her parents in order to get the house.

PATTY G I agree that someone needs to dig up that entire yard ie the pillars. I have been saying this since Casey said Caylees close. I wish someone would tell the authorities. I dont have esp or anything, I just keep having this extreme feeling shes in THEIR BACKYARD!!!! I dont care how much the LE looked, she could be under those pillars!

Now that we know, based on the transcripts of the neighbor who lent Casey the shovel, Casey had the shovel for about 45 minutes. Hummmmmm! :waitasec:

6/15/2008 - Cindy and Caylee take a swim in the pool, come out, take the ladder away.
My question: Where was Casey and George when Cindy and Caylee went in the pool?

Isn't this the day the neighbors heard the huge argument? What time was this? Who did they hear? Casey, Cindy AND George?

I have a feeling that Casey and Caylee took off on this day--after the argument. The stories of George & Cindy placing Caylee in her room for hours and hours on the morning 16th makes no sense. I have a 3 year old daughter, and this just isn't realistic.

Also, something is hinky with the gas can story. I can't really put a finger on it, but the whole thing is strange.

Yes, June 15th is the day the neighbors heard the argument at the Anthony's household. I don't recall if a specific time was stated in the documents.

Based on Clint speaking to Greta, Casey spent the night on June 15th (Father's Day) with Tony without Caylee.

According to Cindy, Cindy "allegedly" tucked Caylee into bed the night of June 15th.

I agree, a 2 1/2 year old child just doesn't hang out in the bedroom for hours on end. Clint said Casey left around 8:30 AM from Tony's place, and if that is fact, then Caylee more than likely had to have gotten up before 8:30 AM or at least when Casey "allegedly" arrives home.

It's been a long time since I had a 2 1/2 year old, but I remember my son coming in my room and lifting my eye lids telling me he was hungry!

This part of the timeline doesn't make much sense to me. Particularly since the times come from GA.
How about if Casey came home, George asked her about the gas cans, and she pretends not to know. Then George asks to get into her trunk, imagining he'll find them there. She won't let him.
So George calls the police and gives them a report, Casey listening in. He's doing this in order to pressure Casey to tell. He's pretty mad about her absences and no longer will take this strange pointless lying. After the report and probably a lot more runaround, she finally opens the trunk, and voila, there are the cans.

Nope, I personally don't believe it happened that way at all.

Caylee was at an age where she would be interested in who her father is.

A 2 1/2 year old has no concept of thinking in this manner about who their father is. Maybe in a few more years she might ask, but not at 2 1/2 years old. Caylee's didn't speak many words at all, and what Caylee did say was not very clear at all.

I still hear Casey's words "She is close to home".

Pretty standard for Mothers to put the body close to home.

Yet CA wants us to look in PR or Texas. Which isn't close to home at all!

Thanks for the time line!

Close to home still haunts me.

31 days, 31 days, 31 days, this is what is bugging me. On July 15 Casey told Lee I haven't seen my daughter in 31 days...
June has 30 days
So, and correct me if I'm wrong here but July 15 would be 31 days from June 15, Right?
So I hold to my understanding that Casey never saw Caylee on June 16 at all.
I posted my theory on this on another thread but to sum it up Cindy was the last person to see Caylee alive.

Ok, hang on with me for a sec, Cindy originally said the 8th because she knew she last saw Caylee alive on a Sunday. Casey agreed that she had Caylee on the 9th, and dropped her off somewhere probably true, George said he saw them leave, on the 9th right originally, which is probably true. but when they changed the story to the 15 due to the video, Cindy said oh yeah, without thinking about the implications toward Cindy George chimed in oh yeah, I saw them on the 16th to follow suit.

Again, sorry for repeating myself from another post but it just seems to fit to me. More than a lot of the other lies they have tangled up for us anyway. Working on no sleep here. things just keep popping into my head.

Praying I'm wrong and Caylee is alive and well building sandcastles in PR!

Speculation searching for the truth behind the lies

I use to be a teacher in the 2 year old room at a child care center. The younger 2s didn't speak much, but the ones closer to three talked up a storm.

Based on the June 15th video of Caylee, she didn't seem to have a very good vocabulary!

I'm no expert in child development. I did ask a friend who has a child via artificial insemination, nearly 3 years old, like Caylee. And this child is starting to ask about her father.

Sometimes I see people on this list with very emotional characterization of Caylee, "that precious little angel" and such. Caylee was a little person with her own personality, her own likes and dislikes. I contend that Caylee's questions, her likes and dislikes, make her an inadverdent player in this tragedy. Don't forget about her agency when thinking about what happened.

I still think that the stimulation of "father's day" would have generated Caylee's asking. Asking in that nearly 3-year old way, which is repetetive and relentless. Someone up there said that 2-year olds are not very verbal, well, this child was almost 3. She undoubtedly had "why" and "who" in her vocabulary. She watched television and heard about mommy's and daddy's, and eventually put it together that she, too, should have a daddy... and innocently asked about what the story was with her.

Also, Caylee was present for this yelling fight on Sunday night too. She would have been upset. She would have been crying. Perhaps she needed some Benadryl (chloroform?) to quiet her down?

Plus, there was so much effort apparantly put on by the family, trying to misdirect this event from Father's day -- trying to recast the day as June 9, etc. I just can't help thinking it was significant.

That is interesting as Cindy describes Caylee as VERY articulate in reference to searching for Caylee. But this stance is also done in support of a Caylee sighting, where Caylee told her whole name etc.

I recall but can't find the myspace blurb where Casey says to her brother--your niece is so smart, she can count to 20 in spanish--(something like that anyhow).

Was Cindy so determined to believe in this sighting (tmi for a 2, almost 3yr old to spout) or was she determined to make the public buy it?

This also makes me wonder how much Caylee was pushed to 'perform'. How much was she used as a source of feeding one's own self worth/value off a child's performance.

I ponder because there is the 'book reading' we have to contrast with the statements. Not that I think Caylee should have read or talked better or that I thought she did too much for her age. I think it was just Caylee being Caylee and there are no rules other than whatever is her pace, is her pace.

all just my opinion :waitasec:

If that is the case,I think that is the most telling thing of all. Now there were no phone records at all? or they don;t have them? or they are not releasing them?

Remember Lee said there are some interesting things on the cell records. So far they are not so interesting imo.

Oh, the cops have phone co records and they have access to information about all the numbers on them. I'm not sure what Lee has but, at one point, Mark Fuhrman said something about the bill not having been paid which would might make it hard for the Anthony's to obtain the records, but who knows. Maybe MF was wrong or maybe they paid the bill. Cops probably don't need all the records they have for the child endangerment charges and probablly saving them for something bigger. My guess is that they are probably pretty damning--showing that Casey didn't make or receive calls she said she made, probably no hint of a kidnapping baby-sitter, EVER.

Sorry. I wasn't trying to pick on your post. I was just stating my experience with children that age.

I didn't take it that way at all! :) I was a single parent, no father for my son around and he never asked me anything until much later.

Just wanted to say I sure like this thread as it's nice to have a timeline everyone is brainstorming on.

I keep going back to the picture of Caylee sitting in great-grandpa's lap and the look Caylee had on her face. We know there were issues at the nursing home, so that may account for the look on Caylee's face at that time.

June 9th seems to be a very consistent date with George, Cindy and Casey. About the only thing I can pull together on that date is this was the date that Casey left with Caylee to bond with Caylee per Cindy. It was significant for George and Cindy seeing Caylee walk out the door.

As for Casey, perhaps the beginning of a new life.
