I apologize if this has been pointed out already, I'm not totally caught up on this thread, but all she had to do was go the S&M route and "gag" a man (hence the "I've got tricks you've never seen" quote), and that gag has been saturated with chloroform beforehand...poof...the guy's out and she makes a beeline for his wallet. Let us not forget that she stole $480 (I'm pretty sure that was the amount) from Amy and claimed she had put it somewhere while sleepwalking. So we know she stole money from someone while they were out of it!

Some people use chloroform for an S&M thing, others use it for a heightened sexual experience - nothing to do with "the choking game." But, of course, if you inhale too much, you may have a seizure or you may die.

if her parents did believe she had a regular job and needed gas to get to work. lunch money, tolls, pay for a nanny, cell phone they must have felt she did very well with her finances. however i doubt that they truly believed she paid for all this herself. her cell phone bill alone was high and a babysitter does not cost 50 cents hour like old days . so-- perhaps they helped her out financial. cindy tried her best to help casey to be able to have things such as above i feel. the money for these basic things would add up. did cindy and george never see a bank statement come in mail or online? i can consider they paid her money to be able to have casey go to work, care for child because they believed that waas her daily routine. the money never went to nanny. maybe the cell was part of a family plan add a phone so it was no big deal . unlimited text and minutes. we have it for our 4 phones. i pay about 150 month and we can call entire country and international. so-- this would be a family shared expense cindy would absorb. she went somewhere every day for two years. kaylee never said hey grandma mom took me somplace ? no one asked her what did you do today with mommy? was she always napping? doubt it.

as far as escort - there are many areas of orlando that have reputation for girlie bars, sex stores for clothing and toys, dance clubs, tacky place hotels, gentelman -clubs-lol. orange blossom trail called 441 or obt. nice place too like fl mall and shopping. go to any club on i-drive and its near convention center. nice places like the omni and peobody. men on vacation who cheat and dangle hotel keys. buy drinks. they are not expecting the girl to be hooker but if they girl says to the guy -- i could use a nice dinner and company they may think she is willing. there are circles of tacky people in some places that she could have got involved with. some of these girls dance in clubs near her home. orlando,casselberry. they are young, desperate for money and would sell their soul i bet. yes i know orlando .i am a fl girl

I've been thinking about this angle, too. Casey's stealing escalated in June/July - after Caylee seems to have disappeared. If she were a new escort, she wouldn't have that much money. In Casey's original statement to police she stated that she was looking for her daughter and stealing from her friends in order to get her back. So I think this could be a ransom situation. She's paid, she's paid more...then the money got cut off when CA got invovled and called the police. This seems to be the story the defense is putting out there - that Casey is being coerced.

You are right. I couldn't remember her name. It is a sad case. But I used to to make the point that we never really know when people are leading a double life.

I think there is a lot about Casey that her friends and family were unaware of.

I read in Tony's statement that since Casey went with him to the club when he worked, he put her in charge of the shot girls, whatever that is. He said it was not a paying job. It was just something for her to do.

My son answered an ad on craigslist for a job and all it required was a cell phone, valid drivers license and a vehicle. When he called, the employer would not give out any information until he showed up for interview. I later found out it was @ a gentlemens club and while he insisted it was some kind of security job, my husband and I soon figured out that it probably entailed driving the girls to their appointments. He was still eager to take job as he figured it would be easy money (the girls are supposed to give driver a percentage of what they make) I'm not sure what finally changed his mind…the fact I pointed out that these girls probably "carry" and if the police stopped him, as the driver he would be responsible and no doubt have his car (which is co-signed by my husband) confiscated, that these girls would probably try and barter services or drugs rather than paying him...or the threat that we would cut off his cell phone and report his car to the police as stolen? Listen, why don't we all assume she was probably screwing someone somewhere for money or dinner or drugs or a place to sleep or whatever but I don't think she had a job at an actual escort agency.

Yes, but the job put her in position to be a recruiter for an escort service. Typically a girl of similar age will recruit another girl of a similar age to join the escort service. Being in charge of the shot girls, Casey would be expected to be all over the club and talk to everyone. What better cover for recruiting?

I think she probably was looking up the escort agencys I just don't think she was actively doing it yet or she had only just started.

I have thought for awhile now that Casey may have been a phone sex chick. Maybe she was using the chloroform to knock Caylee out for short spans of time while she was on the phone. Or maybe Caylee got hurt while Casey was on the phone and not paying attention to her.
