Thats very interesting Brini. Are you saying that there are no Mental disorders where the person actually loses time like we think of in a Sybil type disorder? Or are you saying its very rare but IF it were the case, there would be more of a history of KC losing time and not remembering things and such?
The second statement.
I no longer believe in it. I used to believe in it, profoundly. Thee is a lot of controversy, one way or 'tother in the psych community.
Here's an example. I you had REAL MPD, you might wake up having driven to Houston, with no memory of doing it. And, you would have had those experiences since childhood.
KC may lie about her use of tme, but she doesn't lose it. Also, she wouldn't likely be a liar all the time, because she would prolly have an "alter" that wasn't a sociopath. And, I don't think she could plan out a crime. Too much chance of forgetting to get rid of the body.
Interestingly, almost all the patients so diagnosed have been women.
