Casey to be given new name & moved to secret location. Where is Casey?

I have recovered from Verdict Shock, largely thanks to you’all, my WS family.

Caylee will never be hurt again and nothing we do or don’t do will ever change that. Justice for a murder victim is really pie in the sky because they are still a murder victim.

As miserable as we felt about the verdict that the Pinellas 12 gave us, I predict that the defense team will ultimately be more miserable about the verdict than we will be.

Think about the position the dt is in. They cannot just wash their hands and walk away (thanks for that visual goes to GA). This will become the thorn in their side. More money must be spent on secluding and protecting Casey now that she is no longer a guest of the state. Will public sentiment dry up the cash cow before it even gets milked?

This story is not over by a long shot.

This exactly what I think. Jose is going to regret the day he got a message that Casey Marie Anthony requested his services. He might already. He's in a bind. He needs to recoup the money he hasn't received for 3 years. Wonder if he saw Caseys reaction to him when she was angry in court? He had her under his thumb in jail, but now he won't. She's not about to be ordered around, and I imagine their honeymoon period is long over. I'd LOVE to be a fly on the wall concerning those two.

Casey has already destroyed so many lives in her relatively short lifespan, it is mind boggling. I saw interviews yesterday with Jessie Grunt and his father. Jessie´s life has been deeply affected and damaged by Ms. Anthony, it was heart breaking to listen to what he had to say.
Now she will be free to destroy even more lives (and to kill again?) - she is extremely dangerous in my opinion.

I wonder how long it will take for her to end up back in jail.
I also wonder about the bad checks she was charged with, did she do her time for that?
She will reoffend. How can she not? Hundreds of checks?
Does anyone think she has learned her lesson, and will now be a morally upright citizen?

This is probably the wrong thread but I can't find one that fits this question. When the sentencing was done and the State requested hearing for reimbursement of costs iirc didn't the judge ask about her representation and Jose Baez said she was indigent and she would need a Court Appointed attorney. I guess Baez could be appointed? Or did he not want to represent her at this hearing.

If you mean sorry for her death, I fully agree with you. It's always sad when a child is taken before they have had a chance to live.

I don't feel the least bit sorry for Casey, and I don't care where she ends up.

I don't care what she does, I am just wondering if all the financial stuff, books, movies, etc. will be sold by her parents therefore anyone suing Casey can not get anything.

Now seeing Caylee died from an accident(yea right) by the court , and Casey lied about Caylee being missing...... I come to this conclusion. The police impound yard should be charging a holding fee for the car. At the normal storage rate of $25 dollars a day - I make the bill around $37,000.00

Oh right what I was I thinking, it is Casey, not a normal person who pays taxes. Heck, she probably charge the police for falsely impounding her car and get a nice cash settlement of the tax players money here.

I was not aware that the court declared Caylee's death an accident. The jury did not find Casey guilty of murder, but that does not mean the court decided it was definitely an accident. I don't think the jury was even clear on that, they just didn't find her guilty. Doesn't mean they believe the accident theory, though.

I honestly don't think Casey will be going to her parent's house. All during trial she loathed the sight of either one of them. She's been refusing Cindy's request for visits at the jail and was visibly disgusted by her dad's presence. After all, I firmly believe she is holding her parents responsible, still, for getting her into this mess, the same mess the jury found her NOT guilty of. Casey has disowned her parents. They are of no use to her now.

I'm not so sure about her relationship now with Lee. She always had a soft spot for him and that was obvious during the trial. However, it seems to me Lee has washed his hands of his sister.

I say ship her to Cuba!

Jose Baez is from Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico is a US Territory. I think she'll be flown there and probably be staying in a rehab center thereabouts or with his family there. I just hope he doesn't have family with little children around......

Otherwise the legal system is afraid to touch the truth.

it might not surprise you to know that that car's worth is probably a lot since it was involved in this case. Someone paid big bucks for a yearbook. So it wouldn't surprise me to see someone buy the car as well. I personally wouldn't. It's like buying a hearse? Uh ugh?
