How fair is it that they get a certain amount of time and the judge keeps interrupting and getting them off point. EIther one of them; doesn't seem fair.

There is a disconnect here, or is it me? She volunteers she doesnt work there, they step into a room for privacy-there was no statement by Melich prior to entering the room of a child in a dumpster...I just read the briefs this morning.

I think they brought her to the station for the same reasons Cindy took her. To try and scare her into the truth. Is that considered custody? ETA: Then Cindy made a citizens arrest I guess.

What a frustrating process, but I believe both sides were less prepared for this hearing than they should have been. I think any one of us could have argued (ie. answered the questions) better and lead the appellate judges where we wanted them to go better, than Fryer or the State!

Here we go again with the nauseating "Ms." Fryer. Everything that happened made sense the way it happened because the police were ostensibly called to help. The defense is dishonestly trying to take advantage of the transition from helping to find Caylee, to them being forced to investigate Casey's painfully obvious criminal activity. Don't know if I explained that well.

Sickening that they are able to argue such nonsense. Is there anyone on this planet who doesn't think Casey deserve to be convicted for lying?

I think the guy for the State annoyed the Appellate Judges by telling him they had to follow HHJP's arguments and assessments for the convictions and the Judge said they were not bound by them. It took some ground to get the SA to back off that one and I believe it got him off on the wrong foot with the Judges.

Awkward seating after... Lizbeth- CM clear separation between the two seats. He calls her forward, she still has frozen smile on her face, rapid breathing a bit. Masons mouth covered by her face. Same frozen expression. She's tense. lol

And we she spoke of CA constantly being surrounded by "HEAVY" armed police. I had to laugh.......

I was getting annoyed the Judge kept saying escorted rather than voluntarily stepping into a room.

Well I just watched it. <modsnip>

I found the state attorney terrible. He looked like a phys ed teacher pretending to be a lawyer, and he certainly spoke that way too. The judge caught him out when he said all four counts happened the same day- my heart leapt into my throat! Shut up! Shut UP!

Thank God the other judge stepped in to soften this up, and spin it around a bit. The four counts happened on one day, BUT they were all extentions to the story spun over more than one day.

If this was decided by a jury, we'd be screwed again, I fear.

Nice to see Bill Schaeffer sitting there - at least we will get a decent analysis from this instead of having to listen to Bob Kealing, who leans more to the "high drama" effect IMO.

Yes, I was pretty disappointed in him, although I can't agree with you about Ms. Fryer's performance. I thought she wasn't grasping what the Judges were asking her.
