Now isn't that interesting? the Defense has filed a motion to seal the jail logs. Wonder who is going to visit or has visited that they don't want us to know is visiting? More mitigation people? Wonder how much chance this has of being granted?

Just a guess, but I'm thinking about as good of a chance as they had with their motion for private visits/phone calls with family. They are public record, I think. And, seems some people need to be reminded KC is just another inmate.

I don't think they like being monitored, period ... the visits by him and Mason the day they filed to have Strickland recuse himself have been all over the forums and blogs ... maybe the motion is for future visits, who knows, but all of the visits with her dream team including the mitigating specialist last summer were also made public ...
Maybe they want a psychiatrist and mitigating specialist to see KC ... ??

I'm sure the defense is not happy about these Caylee Daily articles:

Recent Jail Visits Focus on Judge Strickland

Jail Visits With Baez Show Big Decline

Visit Logs From 10-2008 To 12-2009

Does that imply what I think it does????

That's the article that shows the log of Mason and Baez visiting KC the afternoon that she signed the order to get Strickland to step down ... the order must have been faxed from the jail because the time they ended the visit and time it was faxed were within minutes of each other ...

I don't know Orange County's policy, but where I am we have to file motions in person at the clerks office or online via the clerks website.

eta: yep, per the Clerk's website, you can file via fax

Anybody have any strong feelings about whether this will be denied or granted?

If other inmates visitor records are open to the public, then Casey's should be no different. It's the Sunshine Laws, right? I feel strongly that this motion will be denied. Miss Anthony does not get special preferential treatment.

What I find odd....almost brazen....is that Judge Perry specifically addresses that he expects to be apprised of any intent to file a motion. He frowns upon last minute filings.

Given that the hearing is tomorrow.....was this a last minute add BEFORE they appear before Judge Perry? Is there a reason that this needed to be filed today vs. after the hearing?

Exactly, SOS! Makes me wonder if this latest motion filed was a test if you will, from Mason to see just how far he can push. Will there be fireworks tomorrow?

Judge Perry could have received a courtesy copy already, couldn't he? I'm not sure we would know if he did or not unless I'm misunderstanding something.

The only thing this motion tells me is that CM and crew have bodies that religiously read this forum :wave:and could possibly be members. :eek:nline:

Personally, I don't think this will fly long enough to stick to any wall, just more spaghetti being tossed around by CM stretching his muscles.

Those bodies go all the way back to "print outs" of WS threads being found in the A family trash when that woman (whose name escapes me) took the bags from their curb.

Yep you and I know that, but some of the newer members may not. Remember those emails between DC and CA? Yea, I know I should link them, but I am tired at the moment.

By the way, just a small clarification to another post you made regarding this subject: LA is NOT, I repeat NOT a Jedi. That is an insult to all Jedi and Padawan's in training. LA is from the Dark Side. :)

It is with all respect that I ask the forgiveness of TRUE Jedi everywhere. I was making a loose reference to his Myspace page mood that he labeled as Jedi. Now......a question.......is LA aware of his failure to achieve Jedi status??? Or was that certified letter overlooked?

He's not Jedi or the Dark Side. I think Darth Vader would scoff at the idea of Lee being Darkside. No, he's a Jedi/Sith wannabe, someone who wishes he could possibly be Jedi or Darkside, but will never be. The Force does not want him in any way, lol.

And he must be aware of his failure since he's been hiding for so long...letter, what letter? I know it was sent out *evil laugh*

Oh he received his certified rejection letter from Yoda. LA felt he was above and should have been granted Jedi Master status. But his laser failed to fire. :floorlaugh:

Someone suggested to me that the reason they want to seal the records might be to prevent anyone from finding out who will NOT be coming to see her in the future. Say, perhaps an attorney who is getting ready to step down from the case, or who is going to be asked to step down from the case, or will have to step down from the case because that attorney might, just might be in trouble over some of his actions in the past. Perhaps an attorney whose initials are JB?

If that were the case, wouldn't a notice of an attorney withdrawing have to be filed with the Court? And we can get that record from the Court.

Shoot, the media would get it before anyone else ......... so why make the attempt?
