Sidenote: I've been a lurker for a week or so and this is my first post. It's an oddly emotional moment....this case has me turned inside out and I don't even know anyone involved. Whomever said Xanax is not used for "mental issues" is wrong. It is most definitely used for Anxiety Disorder and Panic Disorder. It is also used as an adjunct medication for Major Clinical Depression and Bipolar Disorders.

Maybe we have different interpretations of a mental issue. Probably a different topic althogether.
