First of all, people with seizure disorders can NOT drive unless on meds and no seizures on those meds for at least 6 months. Period. But FCA had a driver license!

Was Casey on seizure medication during the trial? Being seen by a doctor or mental health specialist? If the Anthony's knew this all along, why didn't they just come forth with the truth? And, by the way, seizures aren't something taken lightly why wasn't Casey on medication? A doctor could have testified that she suffered from seizures and was on meds at the time Caylee died. How long would one of these seizures last? Long enough to place 3 strands of duct tape over your baby's mouth, place her in garbage bags, laundry bag, drive her tiny 3 y/o body around in the trunk of her car for days, and then throw baby Caylee's body in a swamp to rot? Guess that seizure could also last long enough to make you want to drink, dance, have sex, and party for 31 days. Excuses, excuses, excuses, George and Cindy will never come to terms with the fact their daughter murdered Caylee. Nor, will they admit their involvement in the cover-up. They also lied, on the witness stand under oath, so why should we believe anything the Anthony's have to say PERIOD? Do they all have seizures that incapacitate their ability to tell the truth from fiction? There's something in their personal make-up that lacks the ability to be truthful and it may well be the entire family suffers from a "mental healthy condition". Are these people for real? They must be having a difficult time telling fact from fiction if they believe we want to hear anything they have to say!

I am so angry with this Family.

I don't recall Jesse G. saying he actually witnessed the seizure, but that her lips were blue and she had some foam on them. But I believed the ER disregarded it when it was discovered it was after a day or two of heavy drinking...
And I'm pretty sure Tracy - Padilla's gal - would have spilled the beans if she'd had a seizure when she was there.

Excellent!!!!:woohoo:
I know I have heard and read others saying Cindy is/has been/ in denial. I have not seen any signs of denial from her or George. Defiance, yes. Denial, no.

I think THs were so stymied as to the family's bizarre behavior, they described it as denial. They just couldn't imagine any other explanation. What i saw was a family covering up a murder. Everything they did and said fit into that wormhole perfectly.

Exactly!

If seizures are your story Cindy - there goes any possibility of your foundation going up in smoke....

Small wonder Lippman has disappeared!

Basically - couldn't get a psych dx so working on a difficult to prove (mythical) med dx. Same old ABC (anyTHING but Casey)

Oh you have GOT to be KIDDING ME!!!! Seriously, Cindy? Now the reason your daughter lies, steals, *advertiser censored* around, and murders is because of seizures?!?!?!!? I'd love to see anyone defend Cindy now. Good freaking GOD. This is the most ridiculous thing I have EVER heard. Please, Dr. Phil, tell me you didn't just take her word about that!!!! Tell me you are smarter than that!!!! What a slap to the face of anyone who suffers seizures or knows someone who does. Unfreakingbelievable, Cindy. You really will cling on to ANYTHING that might explain your lying, thieving, whoring, murdering daughter!!!!! Cindy has gone from denial to complete and utter fantasy!!!! And I bet George just sat there and went along with it, like he always does! I am just outraged!!!! Where the heck was this during the trial, Cindy? How come it NEVER CAME UP?

I have completely and totally HAD IT with Cindy Anthony. I am so done with her. SO DONE. I'm not watching Dr. Phil's sham show more than ever now. I am so beyond disgusted!!!!

..jesse's interview with melich when they talked about kc's "seizure".

JG: Saturday afternoon she came over. We went out Saturday night and started drinking. She got very drunk, passed out at my place, woke up early, first thing Sunday morning, went back to her house again, and then came back at around noon to watch football and hang out at the house…

JG: Uh, we both passed out on the sofa. Uhm, a late night for both of us. I woke up, and tried to get up. Uhm, she was uh, well kind of draped down across, her legs were across me and her head was on the sofa. So I just picked up her legs, moved them to the side while she rested.

As I got up her eyes popped open. Uhm, it looked like she was just staring straight and I said her name a couple times and then she started foaming at the mouth and shaking uncontrollably. And from my limited first aide experience it, it looked like a grand mal seizure to me. So I moved a table out of the way, turned her on her side. Her lips turned slightly blue. She continued seizing for probably about, I don’t know, six to eight seconds. Uhm, once she got done she let out this ahh, sigh, and then her eyes popped back open again and then closed and she was non-responsive.

( called 911 and then cindy & george..)

JG: …while the paramedics were tending to her. Uhm, sh…they had no idea she was even over at my place, or that we were even talking again. Uhm, they went to the hospital. I sat in the hospital for a while. Uhm, we went, we ended up going back later on that night because she was admitted because they didn’t know why the seizure happened.

We went back over to my apartment uhm, to pick up her car. And uhm, I didn’t get to tell you this, but her dad, her dad pulled me aside and said, “Look, I don’t know what’s going on between the two of you, but you’re a really good guy Jesse and you’ve got a lot going for you. And you treat her really well and you treat my granddaughter extremely well. But you don’t need to be around Casey because she has some problems that we need to get her help for.”

YM: Such as what?

JG: He wouldn’t expand upon it. He said it’s not issue, his, he, he, the only thing he further on said was uhm, “She, she’s not a good person right now. She’s not in a right place.”

YM: Okay. Had she ever told you what the results of the uh, well when came out of the hospital did anyone ever say what it was?

JG: They said she didn’t have Syphilis, she wasn’t pregnant, and she didn’t have uh, she didn’t have Epilepsy. They said it m…she claimed to me that it may have been because she drank too many Red Bulls.

Okay CA, FICA has seizures...Wow, but you continued to let Caylee be strapped into a car seat and placed in a vehicle going 65 mph on freeways with a woman, who you knew, to have Grand Mal seizures and was not taking any kind of medication to prevent them. As an RN, a Mother and a GrandMother you were obligated to ensure the public's safety, as well as your daughter's and grand daughter's safety. You didn't, why?

Cindy Anthony will reveal to Dr Phil that her daughter Casey suffers from seizures that make it difficult to tell fact from fiction, it has been reported.
In an exclusive interview on Monday, the parents of the 25-year-old will apparently reveal that they believe she may have had a gran mal seizure while her daughter was dying.
George and Cindy Anthony will tell the television psychologist that the seizures are evidence that Casey had a 'mental health condition' that may have incapacitated her while Caylee was allegedly drowning, according to a Fox News source.

wow, they really will tell themselves anything. that's pitiful.

Here's what bothers me...

This behavior, making excuses for FCA, is probably the very same behavior, making excuses for FCA, that got their granddaughter thrown away like trash in the first place!!!! Had they acknowledged that their daughter had a problem years ago and got her help, instead of "saving face," Caylee might just be alive today!!!! Nobody will ever convince me that they didn't know something was "off!" For pete's sake, i watched 3 video's of the witch and could tell there was something disturbingly wrong!!!! They lived with her for 20freaken years and didn't???? Give me a break!!!! Now the latest discovery, SEIZURES, my BUTT!!!! If true, this would have come out in trial!!!! No doubt in my mind somebody pointed this out "ummm, after the "seizure" the witch would have been concerned that her daughter drowned in the damn pool and wouldn't have partied it up like a rock star 30 days after!!!!" What is wrong with these people!!!! My kids know my love doesn't come with a price tag!!!! I love them no matter what, good or bad, pure fact!!!! CA & GA only love their perfect, "can do now wrong," children!!!! I could care less if the Anthony's love FCA, in fact, I expect it, but, why defend and make excuses for the witch???? Caylee, their GRANDDAUGHTER, deserves better than this! SHAME ON THEM!

(hubby told me I was going to get all whipped up and enraged after the Dr. Phil interview... funny, just hearing these tidbits and I'm going nuts! SHAME ON Dr. Phil too!!!!)

Thank you as always Laurelj.

I have a good friend who has grand mal seizures and is on medication. He continues to have seizures because he continues to drink - a lot. But when he seizes - I would not describe what happens as "shaking uncontrollably" it is much more severe than that. It would be very hard or impossible to turn him over on his side in the middle of a seizure.

I don't know if he's discovered Red Bulls yet...

And here I was actually having sympathy for the Anthonys and all they've had to go through. I still think they've been through heck and back but, in my opinion, this is a perfect example of why they've been through all this. Once again, they make excuses for KC. Even after all they've been through and the loss of a precious child, they find a way to defend their daughter. I'm sure they are worried about image when they go on Dr. Phil so they have to spin it to make it look like it wasn't really KC's fault but it certainly wasn't George's fault so a medical condition would be a good out. However, do they realize how stupid this makes them look? Why didn't you get KC help if she had seizures? Why didn't KC do something to help Caylee after the seizure? Why did KC act like she did from day one - do seizures last that long? I guess what bothers me the most is that Cindy is suppose to be a nurse or at least work in the medical field, surely she should have known that KC needed medical attention if she had seizures so just how lovely does that make this family look now? I'm so disgusted because I really was giving them the benefit of the doubt and hoping this interview was not another KC defense but the honest truth finally. When will they wake up and realize the only way to improve their reputations in the public eye is to tell the truth? The world hates KC and that's probably never going to change. It certainly won't change as long as lies and defenses for her are continuing to be spun and KC will never grow up and be responsible because the enabling just continues.

Sounds to me like she faked the seizure to get attention from Jesse and George KNEW IT.

The A's are just pathetic and laughable at this point. Shame on them, but you just can't shame the shameless.

For anyone who has had seizures (me) and was/is under Dr. care, you know the drill, what's involved and the effects it has on everyday life.

WAIT WAIT!

*******I AM GOING TO TYPE THIS "WHAT IF?" LET'S SEE HOW LONG IT TAKES TO END UP ON THE NEWS******

Do any of you suspect this "epilepsy" schtick is going to circle back around to a physical abnormality - like say, oh I don't know, the premature closing of a cranial suture...like uh was evidenced on Caylee's skull from the autopsy report.... uh, like you know, totally inherited...

***The Countdown Commences!******

Three years after the fact and no evidence of going to doctor's or neurologist for it over the years. Just another excuse by CA and denial.

Also want to say that since she liked to party so much she could have been on ecstasy. I knew a few friends who took that and it can cause seizures.

Okay CA, FICA has seizures...Wow, but you continued to let Caylee be strapped into a car seat and placed in a vehicle going 65 mph on freeways with a woman, who you knew, to have Grand Mal seizures and was not taking any kind of medication to prevent them. These are all such good points tha you bring up. I don't think Cindy realizes how these excuses make HER look. In her quest to humanize her demon daughter she makes herself look dimwitted, irresponsible, and just plain looney. MOO

*hugs* I have the feeling a lot of people are going to lose sympathy for Cindy over this. Maybe even for George too. I feel bad for those who truly felt sympathy for them and then this slap in the face comes out. I hope it does cause a lot more loss of viewership for Dr. Phil, though. And I hope it puts the kibosh on the A's new foundation. But I do feel for those who still had sympathy for them. I wasn't one of them, but now they are losing those people that they needed to have sympathy for them. Way to go Cindy. You and George are TRULY alone now.

I was thinking the same thing. As an RN, Cindy should certainly have known the potential for disaster by allowing Casey to drive. Cindy must have the same 'mental health issue' as her daughter since she seems not to be able to tell truth from fiction either. The apple sure didn't fall far from the tree.

I think Judge Strickland's words about FCA and truth being strangers could easily be said about her mother as well.

'Casey Anthony may have suffered from a medical condition that contributed to the death of her daughter, according to her parents, in an excerpt of a "Dr. Phil" interview reported Wednesday.'

Oh great....here we go again.

Yeah, OK.

I have tried many times over to consider how Caylee could have died accidentally and I come up with nothing. Even if Casey had seizures, and had one that fateful day and Caylee suffered some sort of accident while Casey was *out of it momentarily* it does not explain the duct tape, the body being in the car trunk until it began to decompose, then being bagged and tossed in a swamp.

Unless Casey's alleged medical condition involves multiple personality or something causing a mental blackout while she is still able to function physically, I cannot see Caylee's death as anything but intentional homicide. There's no way Casey could have done all those things with the body during a seizure. Seizures do not last that long and a person is not usually physically capable during a seizure.
