according to the above link, neighbors at Tony's apartment complex saw Caylee in the pool in early june playing. I have one question for Tony.....didn't you wonder where Caylee was if Casey was "working from home" in your bachelor pad?

It was July 15th they picked up the car I believe. I fixed it in the timeline! Thanks! What i did was just take all the time speculations and myspace comments and cut and pasted them together!

It struck me as strange as it seemed to be posted more as an advertisement for the club rather than her communicating with someone she supposedly went on a mini-vacation with during that time.

Trying to catch up here. Still a few pages behind.

My guess is you can't find her because the possibility of this woman existing as the Nanny (or at all) is pretty much zero. There is no possible way that she has babysat her child for over 2 years and no one in her family has ever seen her or met her.

When someone spends that much time with your child, they almost become a member of your family. I have a woman that has watched my 3 year old since she was 6 months old. She has been invited to my daughter's 1st, 2nd and 3rd birthdays. I have framed pictures of her with my daughter on my mantle. She has met every member of my family (mom, dad, sisters, brother, in-laws, etc). And on a few occasions when my husband and I could not pick our daughter up, a family member has done so for us.

So I am just not buying this story at all. There is no way Cindy wouldn't have met her, especially when you consider how involved she was with Caylee and the fact that they lived in her home.

Also, if LE thought she existed, there would already be a sketch of her being distributed. It's obvious that the family does not believe it (even though Cindy keeps talking about it) because every missing poster that was handed out would say "last seen with....."

You know I was there for the rest of my run- I got something was burned in terms of evidence, or perhaps is there a trash incinerator, or was something dumped in a dumpster known to go to some sort of trash incinerator. Was somebody burned by her and will talk? Is the burn a reference to a tattoo? Or is it Casey plus a person with a J name will burn? I think that one is remote as I dont think it can be Karmic and bad at the same time??

Advertise on this site The lives of three UCF students were changed forever May 8 when a violent car crash on Alafaya Trail left one student dead and sent two to the hospital.

Jesus Ortiz, a business major, died in the crash.

Ortiz left Boardwalk Apartments driving a 1999 Honda Accord. His girlfriend Sarah Rogers, a Student Government Association senator and president of the Society of Women Engineers, was in the passenger seat.

Seth Merle was heading north on Alafaya Trail in a 2007 Mazda. Ortiz turned right onto Alafaya Trail to go north and pulled in front of Merle's Mazda.

Merle swerved to try and avoid the impact but hit the driver's side.

The violent impact of metal and glass crushed the driver's side of the Accord nearly into the passenger seat and sent both vehicles spinning into the southbound lanes.

When Florida Highway Patrol officers arrived, Ortiz was already dead. His girlfriend, Rogers, was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center in a coma. She's now listed in stable condition and has made progress toward recovery.

"[Ortiz] was probably one of the best people I ever knew," said friend Stephanie Kostakis in an e-mail. "I never saw him without a smile on his face. He had a kind heart, a good head on his shoulders, and could brighten up anyone's day.

"I went to the viewing. Normally when you go they say the person should look 'at peace,' but he didn't," Kostakis continued in the e-mail. "He looked uncomfortable. It wasn't his time."

Merle was taken to ORMC as well, and has since been released.

FHP Trooper Kim Miller said that charges are pending in the accident. Alcohol was not believed to be a factor in the crash.

However, neither Rogers nor Ortiz were wearing seatbelts.

Ortiz's viewing and burial were held on May 7 and 8. He was buried at Greenwood Cemetery.

His best friend, Valencia student Robbie Swiebel, described him as someone who "enjoyed everything. [He liked] to eat, [go to] the beach, the finer things in life, but mostly just being with his friends." [/*]

Just curious, why we are discussing this at this juncture. We went over this a couple of days back. They were all friends. Casey has even posted on his website. We don't believe this to be Caylee's father (unless something major happened overnight), but I think we have a separate thread for that. I'm not sure if that article specifically was posted, but you might want to go and check (oh, that's if you believe the whole Jesus is Caylee's father thing...if not ignore).

The promotion companies could be four-walling the club for their "nights", paying what amounts to a rental fee and splitting the bar take with the club owner. The promoters were "cool kids", according to the guy who owns the place.

Bruce Lam, the owner, offers sushi preparation lessons to the public - I read a review posted on the web somewhere by someone who took the class and said it was mostly UCF students (and she and her partner, the "yuppie couple").

okay, dont read too much into pictures. as the vp of a sorority during college, we had photographers at every event. and often at clubs, like these 18 to get in, 21 to drink clubs, its just an extra way to make money. have a professional photographer, post the pictures online (as this photographer does) and then charge kids about $3-5/picture to order them. we should look for clues in the pictures themselves, not in the fact that photos are being taken.

All of these new names are interesting... any good connections that have been established yet, other than stephanie and jesus?

One more thing:

If it's "an accident" story she will have to come up with some evidence besides her say so - so far she's batting about 0 in telling the truth.

the burden is on the prosecution to prove, beyond a reasonable doubt, every element of the crime. so if they charge her with manslaughter, they have to prove its an accident or negligence. if they charge her with murder, they have to prove intent. casey doesnt have to come up with any evidence. at all. she can sit back and just shut up if she wants. of course, it will obviously help her cause if she can prove that she didnt commit the crime - but it is not her duty to do so. also, proving that it was an accident doesn't absolve a defendant of liability; it simply reduces a murder charge to the lesser-crime of manslaughter.

that being said, baez is doing the only thing he can right now. they will use this confidentiality privilege as far as it can go. all of his smoke and mirrors act is just to try to limit the inference, as a result of her refusal to explain anything, that she is guilty - but don't expect her to explain herself. casey can plead the fifth amendment (her right to remain silent, not to incriminate herself) forever. nothing can make her talk, period. the prosecution needs to prove her culpability on its own. so i dont see baez helping them out by offering her up there. as soon as he does, she is fair game for anything involving honesty or veracity - considering she blew these to hell long ago, she would be a sitting duck.

Well, this one instance of them not releasing them yet, is to go over them with a fine tooth comb.

The reason they are releasing them after they have had time to review them, IMO, is because the public has been more useful and resourceful about this missing child than Casey from day one.

i agree. if anything, these videos have elicited witnesses to come forward, clues to be broken down, friends potentially becoming fearful they could be tied to this (thus, they are more willing to speak)...
